I can't get it to save my game! Each time I play all 3 files are new game, there's not a game to load!! Frustrating!!! I would have given it 5 stars if not for that HUGE problem, plus the game play is too slow even on fast.

This game was always great... But no retreat and sometimes the troops don't even do what you told ! you tell them to attack a building, they choose to attack another one oO made me loose a game at the moment...

I like how in the last icedales mission it says the westarians will fight with you, you get there, you are completely alone and outnumbered, thanks westarians, a**holes

the most memorable part of this game is ... PLEASE WAIT! why does loading a level take so long? other games which seem more complicated have zero loading time. also why do you forbid me to set graphic quality to low? why take away that options from users?
"Please wait" is vector graphics prerendering - it makes the game faster.
Changing quality won't help because the GFX is raster already and quality won't affect the game speed.

Challenges are usually easy. 10,000 exp is less than half the medium badge, so I figured I'd have time to get it. I was wrong. After spending about an hour in total watching tiny men slowly crawl across the screen, slowly battle other tiny men, and slowly take over strongholds, I have about 5000 exp to show for it. Oh, and it's not lag; check the CPU usage. There's artificial game length, and then there's just fraud. When you examine the "upgrade tree" (and I use those words very loosely), you can see that there's almost no content whatsoever, and yet the locked game speed means at least 10 hours of solid waiting. Hopefully the sequel is as slow to develop as this game is to play, so we'll never have to suffer it in this lifetime. Also, the game mechanics are garbage. 1/5.

if we can have 4x speed, that'd be nice. cuz im just trying to get 3 stars on everything, but repeating to miss 10 or so secs takes such a long time

I am having a problem with loading. The loading bar indicates that loading is occurring, but remains at 0% loaded. Ad infinitum. I have tried all the recommended fixes, nothing changed. The game is not loading.

When two AI opponents are on one map, they never seem to attack themselves unless they both send out troops to attack me at once, and those troops' paths happen to cross.

There also seems to be some problems selecting troops. Maybe expand the hitbox radius for circles by a pixel or two. And make it so you can select a troop by clicking on the people.

Icedale 8 - use ONLY wizards, and max out towers give gold. Attack two strongholds at once, use ogre to rush 4 wizards. KEEP THIS UP

This is a good strategy game but...I dont like it....I LOVE IT,you made the grafices and GUI so nice i got adicted to this game so now...I play this alot But i want one thing to change.When i played this when i finshed the game,On both,I got one thing.It said "RESTART GAME IN...5...4...3...2...1...,RESTARTED" Is that an error or something because i got that on my game Dx I never want to leave this game D:

i like this game but it needs little work on its UI because the colors and the graphics are not done very well especially the rank and exp area looks a bit messy

Game update! Fixed in version 1.1.3:
- crash on Level 6 Icedale
- non-working spells causing negative mana
- game freeze when ultimate spell is cast right before the victory
- delayed update of the available squads number
- some spelling is fixed

I love the way the terrain changes, makes it easy to see what you control. One thing I'd consider in a sequel, were I smart enough to have made this, would be to maybe give terrain attributes to units. To give a little incentive to defend. Oh, and also, the 3 star rating system is all well and good, but how about giving 1 star for winning, but then having the other 2 stars be for optional objectives along the way, instead of a flat out timed system.

And also, I've been loving the challenge of rushing for the 'Perfect' scores. Sure I could durdle around rebuilding every ruin I've created, but it feels more difficult, and in fact puzzle-esque, for me to determine the line of play that leads to the quickest victory.

As to my game experience, I've mostly been enjoying this. What I didn't enjoy was the very first level - I almost didn't come back to the game at all. Gold generation being soo slow, if I lost a unit because I quite frankly hadn't figured out the game at all yet, building another one was unforgiving. If you simply added one more land plot with a gold mine to the start, the first level would be less challenging and more enjoyable as a result.

There's a reason games like this usually use build times on units and queues at each unit-generating building - the opponent being able to instasummon units to the castle on the border makes attacking very aggravating. As a matter of fact, I would go so far as to say that if they AI were any good, many of the maps would be entirely unwinnable. Fortunately the AI is terrible, and I don't mean that in a rude way, but in the way the boss in a platformer is terrible and you can use its own attack patterns against it. Although I'm still having quite a difficult time trying to punch through map 7 in the cultist campaign... my strategic sense says attack the bottom castle first for the land plots but my units keep getting distracted by the magic tower in the middle.
