This game is exactly my most beloved type of flash game, and as I began to play I got excited because it looked like a 5/5. But as I neared completing it all too soon I realized that while the basics were all there to make it a brilliant and fun strategy game with fun and unique factions it just seems a little unfinished. Thats ok tho that is what sequels are for :D definitely need that retreat function and maybe a few more type of building to capture with more perks and much more missions that get more and more challenging, keep up the GREAT work guys!
Thanks! The game development took much more than expected so we just couldn't wait more and had to release what we had. Though the game has great potential and we will definitely create a sequel to let this potential transfer to a great game %)

Doubt this is going to be seen by the developer, but I usually don't point out bugs in games unless they make the gameplay unplayable. This game started as 4 stars, went to 3, and now is at 1. There's too many problems with it to be considered a "good" game. First, if my base is getting attacked, I want the units I click to stop fighting and help out so I don't lose a base, just to gain one. Second, the enemies seem completely one sided (Yes, I understand the difficulty comes with this but...). I can't believe my enemy is churning out 5 horse units in the span of 15 seconds, or using their special techniques almost every 30 seconds. There's too much imbalance in this game to make it enjoyable. Sorry.

Game is loading. I scroll down, and I see comments. I see a developer responding to comments enthusiastically. A good sign, for sure!

Arrrgh, so annoying when the only thing stopping you from getting perfect is your units taking 5 seconds to enter a castle...

Lol, I managed to summon multiple Lord's Avatars onto the field. Maybe have some kind of "legend rule" to make sure that you can't summon multiple of a god-unit at a time?

haha, found an interesting glitch, right as I conquered a stronghold, the enemy had just spawned an enemy and now they're repairing it for me!
We do listen for your comments %) We have a good list of issues which have to be addressed in the sequel based on the comments from Kongregate and other portals.

Awsome game, only thing that really annoyed me was that units don't get upgraded if their base gets upgraded. You acctually have to kill off your units and make new ones for the upgrade to apply. Which makes the entire upgrade system utterly useless if you are going for perfect rating.

yeah, retreating is only like, one of three basic maneuvers for combat units, the others being sit where you are and attack. massive oversight.

It would be amazing if my troops were actually consistent in following my orders... instead of diverting all the time whether it is because they see another structure or enemy en route to their destination or if it is when they abandon fortifying a structure after taking it and instead just stand outside of it... other than that a phenomenal game, very fun to play despite some minor flaws in the basic a.i. performance

I really enjoyed this game, the magic element matches perfectly to the gameplay and the graphics remind of my SNES-time which is a good thing. Some suggestions for a sequel: I want bigger maps with more tactical possibilites. Also the campaigns and the missions could be longer and more challenging.

I had a possible bug, or it could be just for me only. When I lost a battle and the screen for losing came up, the enemy used their ultimate and it stayed on screen, freezing the game, since I cannot click anything at all.

Yeah, strategy definitely could play a bigger role; now I feel like it's just about mobbing with as many units as fast as you can, I'd slow it down a bit, make the units more controllable, and make the levels less linear in the sequel!

I can't get it to save my game! Each time I play all 3 files are new game, there's not a game to load!! Frustrating!!! I would have given it 5 stars if not for that HUGE problem, plus the game play is too slow even on fast.

This game was always great... But no retreat and sometimes the troops don't even do what you told ! you tell them to attack a building, they choose to attack another one oO made me loose a game at the moment...

I like how in the last icedales mission it says the westarians will fight with you, you get there, you are completely alone and outnumbered, thanks westarians, a**holes

the most memorable part of this game is ... PLEASE WAIT! why does loading a level take so long? other games which seem more complicated have zero loading time. also why do you forbid me to set graphic quality to low? why take away that options from users?
"Please wait" is vector graphics prerendering - it makes the game faster.
Changing quality won't help because the GFX is raster already and quality won't affect the game speed.

Challenges are usually easy. 10,000 exp is less than half the medium badge, so I figured I'd have time to get it. I was wrong. After spending about an hour in total watching tiny men slowly crawl across the screen, slowly battle other tiny men, and slowly take over strongholds, I have about 5000 exp to show for it. Oh, and it's not lag; check the CPU usage. There's artificial game length, and then there's just fraud. When you examine the "upgrade tree" (and I use those words very loosely), you can see that there's almost no content whatsoever, and yet the locked game speed means at least 10 hours of solid waiting. Hopefully the sequel is as slow to develop as this game is to play, so we'll never have to suffer it in this lifetime. Also, the game mechanics are garbage. 1/5.
