It's worth noting that unlike Frontiers, KR has some balancing issues. For instance, most of the Iron/Heroic challenges are meant to be beaten with a very specific setup, with early ones having few alternative setups. Also, many of the tower abilities are not as useful as their KRF versions. There's issues like how the Teleport has a small targeting range, meaning that it may only take one or two foes off the field (unlike the Tornado which covers a huge area). On the other hand, these issues are minor and never stopped us from enjoying the game before, we just have realized how difficult it can be in retrospect. Still 5/5.

I gotta agree with Iskandros, the game got quite difficult lately. I've played it before and now it seems a bit different.

Did they increase the difficulty on this game? After the tenth mission it just gets gradually more and more difficult. (I've played this game before many times and it wasn't this annoying)

I'm not a fan of the difficulty curve. I got 3 stars on medium for the first 7 missions, but then can't even beat the 8th on easy.

This game is great, I really love playing it. The two big problems I have with it are 1: the lack of a speed up button and 2: when the soldiers from the barracks are being shot at, they should respond to it instead of just standing there and letting themselves be shot at.

A fun game, but gaining nothing after losing a long level is too much of a waste of time. The fact that there's no speed increase is an enormous, unforgivable miss. After all these years, too many glaring flaws. All in all, this game didn't wear well. 3/5

I literally cannot even start the game. I press new game and it sends me back to the start menu, but interestingly I can no longer press the particular new game button I already pressed...
This sucks.

After 9 years, i still come back to this game. I don't know what it is, but the quality and quantity of this and its successor are above and beyond what you would normally expect from a TD game. If i could i would give it a 6/5.
