@Perttuv: if you're getting stuck, try looking at the waves as puzzles instead of TD waves. This is especially true for the challenge levels - I lost every time I played a heroic or iron level the way I normally play TD games, but won easily when I started looking at them as puzzles where my goal was not to build an invulnerable defense, but to find a solution to a given problem, using a limited selection of tools.
To that end, tower limitations act as hints in iron waves. You know all the enemies you're going to be facing for the entire level, and you know exactly what towers you need to beat them.

Wonderful game! I'm a huge fan of tower defense games, and this one is perfect. The towers are great, the strategy is great, the gameplay is great. Just all around great. The autopause is the best thing ever, and I love that there are different challenges to do after you've beaten a level. KINGDOM RUSH 2 PLZ.

Just when you start thinking no more original tower defense games will be created, this game shows up. Really well put together, no glitches, no typos, great tutorial, a superb upgrade system, and an interesting and relevant system of towers and enemies that keeps you from using the same tactics. Ordinarily I have constructive criticism for Kongregate games to give, this game is a rarity in that there's nothing much I can say. Some like me might prefer a less linear path with more choices and multiple endings but for what it is, a TD game, it is excellent.

This is the best Tower defence gave i've ever played, or should i say, strategy game. Everything is well balanced, you cant just go ahead and put your towers without thinking over it first, the iron challenges and overall dificulty make it worth it when you get through it, imo, best flash game i've ever played. 5/5

Loved the game. However, if I may, I have a suggestion. Please put in a target priority, so we can choose what units to attack. For example, attack lowest health, or attack flying things. Other than that, great game. 5/5

The only thing that I found wrong with the game was that there was no reward for getting achievements. Maybe just one star per achievement? Anyways, great game. 5/5

Great game 5/5! Ive played it many times and still love it. 2 things I have to ask to improve. First, the archer tower upgrades seemed pretty weak compared to the advantages of other towers upgrades. Second, the Barbarian Mead Hall is only useful against the hakaj trolls and gargoyles. If they had come with the twin ax upgrade already they would have been much better, because spending more gold to make them worthy fighting units when you could have just made the already good paladins better just doesnt seem worth it. All in all still Kingdom Rush is still worthy of having the #1 ranked defense game on Kong!

I love the synergy and specialization in towers. For instance two barracks one rally point near the back and the other toward the front can later have their rally points moved closer to have Paladins backing up Barbarians. Your safety arrow tower to the rear can be upgraded to sniper musketeers who bring down runners with a shot. The reinforcements are a great touch of tactics too, like using them to delay shamans and separate them from the main force.

Pro tip: For iron waves where you're allowed a Barracks, only upgrade the soldiers as a last resort as when you do new soldiers instantly spawn and the enemy will wait for them

Really good game, my only suggestion is that we can control the kinds of things our units attack. It's kind of frustrating having your cannon attack the one man rather then the huge mob just out of splash range...

yes a speed button would be great most of the monsters go really slow but some of them go at an okay speed. Yes, Thomas that is quite amusing.

This is most likely the best tower defense game I've played since I discovered the internet and flash games. Kudos to the creator for bringing such new and fun concepts to the genre without really trying to be groundbreaking. I can't count the amount of times the reinforcement spell has saved my ass from going down to 19 lives :)

Great game, the one thing I disaporove of. The first upgrade for the archer towers (marskmen towers return 90% of gold when sold). Is completely useless, if you plan things right you won't ever need to sell a tower once. So I feel like I'm wasting that point when I could use it to get: better meteros, increases artillery damage, increased wizard range, etc. All the other upgrades that are perfectly useful. Come up with a better beginning upgrade. If nothing else then slightly increased damage.

It's worth noting that unlike Frontiers, KR has some balancing issues. For instance, most of the Iron/Heroic challenges are meant to be beaten with a very specific setup, with early ones having few alternative setups. Also, many of the tower abilities are not as useful as their KRF versions. There's issues like how the Teleport has a small targeting range, meaning that it may only take one or two foes off the field (unlike the Tornado which covers a huge area). On the other hand, these issues are minor and never stopped us from enjoying the game before, we just have realized how difficult it can be in retrospect. Still 5/5.

For those having problems with the last badge because of the Dark Tower stars, you could transfer your save from ArmorGames. I used my save here Kongregate, then finished it at ArmorGames then transferred it back here. :)
