I think you mean the advent boxes, right? Cause the Kongergae pack that we gifted to all new Kongregate players is for Kongregate users only and free to open. Those advent boxes are a big thing in our complete comunity and a tradition for multiple years now. Some of them cost some gems, other cost gold or iron.All of them are pretty easy to open. Next to that you can gain enough gems ingame to use them and you can save the crates to open them on other (higher) levels to get better rewards.
So please don't see this as an annoying feature.. see it as an opportunity, cause the rewards you get out of the boxes are way more worth then if you try to get them on other ways.. as an example, sometimes to open a box i costs you 1000 gold, but you get 3000 gold and 4 units out of it)

Could you be more specific, cause this problem never occurs to me/us while testing it. I tried to reproduce it 5 minutes ago and it worked perfect for me. So you could play the first tutorial, but in the second one the AI freezes, or? What comp specs do you have and what browser are you using. Sometimes accepting third party cookies will help to solve the issue..

Hi Neroger, you can get more heroes by completing the quests. Watch the last in a questline to see the what the rewards are. There are multiple heroes in the game, for every playstyle one, so search for your best fit!, have fun marauding!!!

This is the best turn based mmo on kongregate it is perfect but one thing, every time i get a raid wipe or even 3 wipes losing all my units, energy and failing to get the reward i feel like having a heart attack in real life and i just can't avoid that lol, if you could rework the victory or defeat rewards system to be more player friendly would be nice, and i'm not talking about free gems i'm just talking about not hammer the player so bad for a loss, or maybe i just lack skill.
Haha, I'm sorry it's giving you a heart attack :P However, those are the stakes of the game. I understand it frustrating that you lose a lot of unit if you have a couple of though battles in a row, but that can happen to everyone. MechanicalAngel

Great game over all - but some moments are a bit frustratig (for example, losing a non purple unit, which you can't produce) Lots of units have no description in the library - Elite devastator, Black Skull units, Atellian units - not even a simplest info on them. Also, it would be a great thing, if we could sell licenses for elite units for one crystal. This would ease getting new ones, along with getting rid of low-level units, which are just making mess of purple unit production page.

I really don`t like the fact that I have to spend Gems to open some boxes. DAMN, even on Christmas. :( I hope that you guys are not overacting it - so far I spend 20 to 30 Gems and I`m only playing this for a couple of days. But anyways I like this Game so I just wanted to support it. But...yeah...you know, I really would like to get by for a while with the 99 Kongregregate-Kreds that I`ve contributed.

Thanks for you support for our game. The boxes you got untill Christmas are from our adven calander action. BAsically those are boxes that hang around in your storage and you can do whatever you want with it. They stay there untill the end of times. I know a lot of players keep them in their storage to open them on a level where they need to new units. Next to that there are enough free gems to gain in-game especially at the early levels. However, we do need to make some money of this game ofcourse so yeah :). My advice is to open some o the crates on the lower levels and keep some of the for the lvels that you find harder to overcome but in general, spending ges on boxes is way batter since you get way more units and resources out of it then you woud normally get on the Black Market or such..

Just a FYI to newcomers so you dont waste money and/or too much time. This game is technically dead, abandoned by its devs, bugs not addressed, user feedback not listened to, updates / new content not added. Great game, exciting world, horrible devs. It is only matter of time for the servers to be closed down. You had your warning, use it well!

The devs lied all the time and never intended to maintain the game yet they accepted people to buy premium currency for real cash and never warned them! They even put gems on sale not long ago and promoted it as a news post! Disgusting! Evidence by one of the devs in ingame chat:

when i see a one shield raid i do not want to find that the enemy bring more troops than i can possible field and that they do more damage than my units do
it means that the AI cheats to create a artificial difficulty that is much higher than the shield suggests and so trumps any chance of doing a raid and the other missions pay out so low that leaves me stumped at how to actually play the game.
That is understandable. However, the AI difficulty is based both on the shields and on the amount of wins you've had. The AI adjusts according to your skill. It's not ideal system, but it keeps the game interesting, challenging and balanced for everyone. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that the AI difficulty is a little to high for a player and that can only be resolved by losing a couple of times.

The game itself looks to be pretty good -- combat was surprisingly solid, given the its a browser game. My biggest issue with the game is the line "Wake up it's your turn." It makes me want to punch a small child and kick a puppy. It's possibly the MOST obnoxious line, and it singlehandedly killed my joy of the game and made me decide not to play.
Ikenage, it's sad to hear that since you easially turn that off, if you like the game then you shouldn't stop just because of that!! Have fun maraunding!! Cheers legolas

Hi, congratulations on your Kongregate release of the game.
I have a small suggestion. In the battle screen there’s a Save button. Why not couple it with a Load button so if one makes accidentaly a wrong move he can reload the turn/round instead of closing the battle window, relaunching the battle and waiting for the whole game to load again. I think it would be quicker to use the “sending data” routine with the Load button to go back to the last save.

cant get it to even move the in the first battle. Library has no How do i move included for those that obviously read the help wrong

So my hero can do a lvl3 assault/smuggling mission with no problem, but a lvl2 raid is impossible? Balance Fail -2 to rating.
Hi Mewvg, I dunno why you think it works this way, but it's absolutly not true.. You can play lvl 2 raids and even level 3 raids. Premium raids will be available on a later level, out of my head around lvl 5. It's sad that you base your score on this only, cause our game has much more to offer. I would advice to play a bit further to see things on a higher level, cause there will be more and more features unlocked... Have fun Marauding! Cheers Legolas!

as i said earlier:this could be because of the heavy traffic lately. This feature is new and never been done on Kongregate, cause the world chat as shown here is connected with our in-game chat. you should have a natural gold/iron regeneration. what happens when youve run out of cash and all your troops are destroyed?
