If you need some help finding all the differences, I have made a walkthrough with downloadable pictures that show every possible difference. http://goo.gl/gl9PB3 I hope it helps some of you get the badge.

I was a bit surprised on the end screen when a random click on the game screen took me to a warning i had been given a virus page.

Pro tip: If you "crossview" this, it becomes fairly easy. Parts that don't line up will look slightly out of focus or just kind of strange. To crossview, cross your eyes until the images line up and your brain will magically focus on the overlaid image!

I click somewhere. It blinked. Then wondered what just happened? What was the difference there? I was pretty dumbfounded after.

If you have any issues, do one of these three things.
1. Clean your screen.
2. Read and use this link: http://kongcg.blogspot.com/2010/02/5-differences.html
3. Turn up or down your brightness.
That's what got me to get the badge. Oh and whatever you do stay calm and try do it all in 1 sitting as it does not save your progress.

When i reached the wall where the man was with free hugs i said some... not gentle things. But its a great game and i LOVE YOU STILE for the different count! But dat WALL! i hate the maker of the game but also <3

Great game, the most frustrating part was with hanging man and a drip:) And btw, i found that Boards of Canada is a great soundtrack for this.

If you're having a hard time, you can take a screenshot, then paste the image into 2 instances of MS Paint (or something similar). Crop it down to just one of the images in each one, then toggle back-and-forth between the two. Even minor differences will become VERY apparent

A great technique is to cross your eyes until both images meet, then once the image becomes sharp (it takes some getting used to, but you can get it perfectly sharp, see cross eye 3D as well) and the differences "blink"

this is def not an easy find the differences game (not a bad thing) but i keep finding myself on the last difference and after looking forever i reduce myself to CLICK ALL THE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've enjoyed games of this genre before. And I really like the weird psychological theming of this one, even if it doesn't really go anywhere. But when the differences to spot boil down to multiple slight variations in a pattern of bricks, or a slight fringe of grass, or a single star in the sky, it quickly turns tedious. The differences in a spot-the-difference game ought to be interesting to spot in themselves, at least for me. Better tools might have helped -- I've seen games like this which create a second cursor on the other half of the screen, letting you pick out trivial differences more easily by seeing what corresponds to what.
Overall, a good effort, but flawed.

As an artsy game, this is pretty neat. As a playable game, it's downright infuriating - the differences are ridiculously subtle at points (granted, that IS sort of the point of this game), and there's no indication to how many levels there are until you reach the last one. On the other hand, I'm just glad there's no jump scare at any point...call me paranoid, but when I see a "Spot the Difference" game with little to no music, I get a bit nervous.

If you have a QWERTZ keyboard: hold down Q, W and F and press the right arrow key until you get to the last level. Then suffer a bit with finding what stars stand 1mm away from their pair on the other half of the screen.

Mary Poppins or a damp nun in mismatched socks? Super games that make me LOL (& need clean glasses). 10/5 if I could... 5/5.

Level with the bridge- I clicked everything, used 2 walkthroughs and even refreshed the page and the fifth still is not there.
