Tips for Campaign: Round 1, buy 1 gunmen. Now save up for the next few rounds until you can buy the Combat Shotgun. The Combat Shotgun is AMAZING for the early rounds(Aim for groups of enemies). Next, keep upgrading your gunmen until they can take out waves their selves. The biggest threat now would be the propane trucks as nothing will automatically take them out and they do a good chunk to the wall. Upgrade the wall HP a few times and get some repairmen. Buy Earthquake and Shield and max them out. Your end game weapon will be the Space Lazer.

@aquatorrent and others playing the campaign: You get more money for killing them early, and almost nothing once they reach your wall. So either be a perfect shot or alternate killing the lead guy with one that just appeared. I really don't know - the reload delay always puts me behind so I get less money, then I don't have enough firepower for the next wave.

tips for zombocalypse: use your gun from the start until some zombies are crowding your wall. then press z to switch to shotgun and blast the zombies. kill the small group of zombies with guns and the large group of zombies with shotgun. you won't be able to win unless you use shotgun (or i just suck) btw, any tips for the campaign? i'm suck at this. mostly i lose or didn't have enough money to buy the items.

"uh, sir, couldn't we just rake up this money to buy a space laser and blow up the defenses?" "nah, let's send 10000 people at them instead."

didnt care for it to difficult to raise money in lower level it could be fun but its to frustrating to learn to be something i would play more than for badge.

I got this badge in 2012. I don't even remember that this game existed, let alone that I played it long enough to get a badge.

Not a bad game. Well coded given the number of enemies it can handle flawlessly on screen. On the other hand, it doesn't even have a save function...

I guess all people who want the badge of the day will say this, but let me be one of the first. Thanks, YellowAfterlife, for making a comment so helpful that it still helps people even after 5 years! Not many people on Kongregate have made such a famous comment!

I beat Sparta with two Missile Turrets and a Tesla Tower. Upgrade Tesla Damage and Fire Rate to max. Then upgrade the Missile Turrets' Missiles to max and upgrade your wall and gunmen until you're poor. Relax a bit as you enjoy victory.

Ridiculous amount of lag. I made it to day 23, before the lag essentially killed me. I could not aim and when i let go of the mouse, the gun kept firing until empty, as if I was holding down. Computer response was awful. Do not attempt to seriously play this game if your computer cannot handle it.

@DarkEagle- Zombocalypse: Mostly use the shotgun, it's effective to shoot in-between groups as it will take the entire group. This is especially useful once crowds gather at the fence and you can take multiple out. Also no need to wait on the shotgun to reload fully - you can shoot with any number of shells.

Here's some tips if anyone wants them. It's up to you if you want to follow them:
gunmen are incredibly important and awesome past 20. A good number to have is around 60. Though feel free to go past that (I got to 140 eventually)
don't buy any gun except shotgun and the gun you will use endgame (generally that's old glory)
shield towers are useful in late game. Don't get 3 though as the third makes little difference.
getting the right stuff early is important. For example, upgraded your wall should be left till later as it shouldn't be getting hit in the early levels
Your main fire power late game will be your gunmen and (sometimes) your towers. Keep that in mind
Laser towers are better than missile turrets from middle to late game as your army of gunmen will take out anything that's weak
Repairmen won't seem to important from day 20-35-ish if you're playing right, but it's good to stock up for levels ~38+
Have fun:)

Just saying, you can make the "Remembering the Alamo Badge" much easier if you pause, shoot, pause, shoot. But I know someone in the top comments already posted this tip ;)

How to win this game> 1.put all missile launchers maxed as your defences 2.put 100-200 gunmen 3.turn on godmode 4.upgrade your walls to max, get 50 gunmen and 50 repairmen, and finally put all of your defences as quackers MAXED

I gotta say, with all the weaponry you get couldn't you just mass up gunman and invade their camp? I mean you wouldn't have to worry about these guys anymore.
