The trick to the BoD is to use the shotgun (thanks jmjoffer) and only aim at groups. Limited reload speed is the enemy so having a single zombie attacking is a small price to pay to allow each shot to count.

tricky problem/glitch: sometimes the gunmen will simply stop shooting-as if they are unable to target a specific enemy, and since they MUST hit the nearest enemy, they can't shoot at ANY enemies unless you shoot the problematic enemy yourself! this WILL kill you if you're not paying attention!

I think it's pretty horrible that this game has both a hard badge for a campaign mode and does not have a SAVE FEATURE for that very campaign. Nobody in the Universe enjoys going through 35 waves only to discover they've failed and must go through yet another 35.

When using the Old Glory minigun, you can skip the time it takes to start up by switching from another full-auto weapon that you are currently spraying with Z. Merely switch weapons while firing to get insta-minigun fire

So bored at day 39 with my 100 gunmen and 40 repairmen and my fully upgraded rocket platforms, so very close to ending this madness and getting my badge. Reading the comments. Now i'm dead. After day 38, better watch your shit, because i'm not doing that again.

For HARD badge, days are approx as cash is weird: D1- buy 2 gunners, d2 - 1 gunner, d3 - shotgun (never upgrade it), d4-8 - 21 1 repairmen,rest of cash gunners. d9-12 focus jeeps+groups with shotgun, buy gunners.D13+ buy gunners until you have 50. Then, get the missile tower. Max in order: fire rate, number of missiles, damage. Day 17 big trucks spawn:shoot them only, gunners handle the rest. Buy ~3 repair men and 1/2 wall upgrade(s). After max missile turret, buy laser tower, maxing fire rate then damage. Another wall upgrade and few repairmen, then buy+max a shield gen. Then get minigun and max, you cant AFK past 36. Blow spare cash on ~20 repair men and rest gunners.

Don't use explosives. I don't know why, but every time i have (missle turrets, grenade launcher, ect) my gunmen have stopped firing for no reason, which quickly leads to death. Since this game has no save feature, save yourself some agony.

How to survive for 40 days: First get enough money to buy a Uzi and a few gunmen, like 3 of them, after that save your money until you can buy a SCAR and after you upgrade the reload time a little bit you can start to spend your money with towers, you will need a Quake Box and 2 Missile Turrets. Next step is to buy more gunmen, and if you have money to spare you can upgrade your defense by upgrading the wall and buying repair men. If you upgrade everything to the right level you wont even need to shoot your gun until you get to Day 35, because even if you are hit your base will be repaired fast enough, from that day on you will be needing a "Old Glory" to defeat the tanks and the giant robots.
