The three quake'rs thing didn't work, but I did find a strategy that did. 2 fire guys, fully upgraded, one quaker, fully upgraded, 20 gunmen and 11 repairmen and a single wall upgrade with remaining funds. They never touched my wall.

Sparta achievement tactic: buy 3 quackers, upgrade one to maximum, and one to lvl2. Then buy 60 gunners. That's all. You can leave the game and go get a drink, they deal fine with spartans and get you a achievement. (notice the plus-sign to the right, for the good of all of us).

The game is way too unforgiving. You have to know exactly what you can get away with saving, and what you need to survive for the next wave. Escalation happens extremely quickly and there's no save feature. If not for that it'd be an okay game, but having to restart every +5 waves in progress because I didn't know what was coming is way too boring. 2/5

Log-Day 20:
It has almost been 3 weeks since the siege began. The enemy is relentless, only stopping at night, and they do not stop coming during the day. I am unsure about how much longer our defenses will hold... Armed with only a pistol, I can't take out that many. Luckily, we can fix the damage(glances at the 500 repair men who fix faster than the enemy can attack). War is hell...

Why do I get to a point where a Jeep turns up and is indestructible? Day 13 it happened this last time. Every gane an indestructible Jeep kills me.

For HARD badge, days are approx as cash is weird: D1- buy 2 gunners, d2 - 1 gunner, d3 - shotgun (never upgrade it), d4-8 - 21 1 repairmen,rest of cash gunners. d9-12 focus jeeps+groups with shotgun, buy gunners.D13+ buy gunners until you have 50. Then, get the missile tower. Max in order: fire rate, number of missiles, damage. Day 17 big trucks spawn:shoot them only, gunners handle the rest. Buy ~3 repair men and 1/2 wall upgrade(s). After max missile turret, buy laser tower, maxing fire rate then damage. Another wall upgrade and few repairmen, then buy+max a shield gen. Then get minigun and max, you cant AFK past 36. Blow spare cash on ~20 repair men and rest gunners.

* If you stack gunners they'll become extremely strong
* 2 Shield generetor decreases %86 damage taken, which makes you x6 times stronger. Plus Its not expensive
* Well upgraded missile Turret can deal massive AoE.
* After Day 17 nuclear trucks appears, which deals 100 damage. Gunners cant hit them, so you have to destroy it. Remember shield generator can save you well.

2nd laser and same upgrades. Buy repairmens to 20 and max wall upg. At last (day 28-29) change shotgun to "Old glory" and uprade it to max. After that buy 10 more repairmens. Stage 38-40 may be little difficult, because many lags. Good luck.

For HARD badge: Day 1- buy 3 gunners, day 2 - 1 more gunner, day 3 - shotgun, don't waste money for upgrade, day 4-8 - 21 gunners, 1 repairmen. day 9-12 focus jeeps and groups with shotgun, buy gunners. day 13 - you must have about 43 gunners, 1 wall upgrade, 1 repairmen, shotgun w/o upgrades, now relax few days, gunners will do all job. Stop buying gunners at 50. Now you need missile tower. 1st - max fire rate, 2nd- number of missilese, 3rd- damage. At day 17 need catch big truck, now you need to help with defence by destroy the trucks (shoot only in trucks, your defence kill all others). You may buy 2-3 repair mans and 1 more wall upgrade if hard to catch tracks. After max missile turret, buy 1st laser, max fire rate then damage. Now you need 3rd-lvl walls and 10 repair mans. After you may skip trucks :) (but kill is better).

This game is so infuriating. What's the point of even having the damn gun if it's so inaccurate I can shoot an entire clip straight at an enemy and miss every shot? You can't win if the game literally won'y allow you to hit anything.

In zombie apocalypse when zombies are close to the barrier, take in mind the arc and split it into 3 zones, the shotgun covers 1/3 of the total arc, this is enough to kill all zombies in a line with 3 shots having them at line of defense.

Easy Spartan mode is use Space Laser (focus on ammo) and 3 Fun Tower (max them all). It's pretty easy to do radial damage against group of spartans while they are slowed down like a turtle.

And here I had been thinking to myself, these are the least gory zombies I have ever seen...and then I realized that I had been shooting at other survivors to keep them out of my compound :O.
