@DarkEagle- Zombocalypse: Mostly use the shotgun, it's effective to shoot in-between groups as it will take the entire group. This is especially useful once crowds gather at the fence and you can take multiple out. Also no need to wait on the shotgun to reload fully - you can shoot with any number of shells.

As I stand on my roof, I gaze upon the rushing hordes of men, giants, tanks and attack helicopters. I laugh maniacally while holding down the trigger to my chain-gun, waving it to and fro; reloading in the merest of seconds watching the sky darken from my ever firing missel launcher and simultaneously brighten from my mega death ray laser. Glad i built a giant tesla coil to keep everyone 3 car lengths away. Unfortunately the horde is hell bent for my treasure and continuously drive gas trucks into my barb wire fence. Luckily my army of repairmen dutifully run out to repair it before my belt runs dry. Forty days we survived this seemingly unending nightmare and on day forty-one the horde seemed to have gone away. the desolate wasteland around me is littered with countless wreckage and no doubt the funeral pyre could be seen from space but at least my chimichangas are safe once again.

Cooldud78, first off all, 40 days is the maximum -.-,
Second of all, if you have finished campaign mode, and didnt get badge, you probably played on easy difficulty setting (or hard or Why god!!?, but its really hard of getting over them),you need to have it set to medium.

I love how this game from 2008 can utilize my mouse's scroll wheel without scrolling the entire screen, but games that I play five years later don't manage that.

I never thought I would be one of those tiresome "omg FAILED on lvl 39/40 XD" guys. I cruised through all the levels until 40, where I only had 30 repairmen and 80 gunmen. I can't remember my health ever dropping below 300. Fast forward to the sun about to set on the very last day, SECONDS left till I get the badge, when Old Glory has to reload. 75 health left, WTF?!?!? I saw the huge robots unleash about 15 missiles, and in slow motion, they landed just as the last sliver of the sun was going to disappear. So agonizing. So heartbreaking. FUUUUUUU

I dont see why is movies and games, shotting a zombie in the head is the only way to kill it. If there's even the slightest tinge of humanity left in these shambling monsters, a nutshot is still going to at least wind the male ones. There's a limit to what death can take away; ball-sensitivity might still be in play.

So there i was, day 17, looked sunny (really pretty btw xD) anyway, i was fightin them w/ mah combat shotgun when suddenly truck appeared and i was like "dear god!" so that was 10 minutes of preperation gone -.- (preperation for getting to day 40)

I guess the enemy commander has way too many soldiers to spare, when he can send swordsmen against fully upgraded laser and rocket turrets + 70 soldiers shooting from window and a quaker.

@aquatorrent and others playing the campaign: You get more money for killing them early, and almost nothing once they reach your wall. So either be a perfect shot or alternate killing the lead guy with one that just appeared. I really don't know - the reload delay always puts me behind so I get less money, then I don't have enough firepower for the next wave.

40 day survival in normal: get 1 gunman, save up for shotgun, get some more gunman and 1 repairman, get up to around 30 gunman and upgrade wall once, get up to 60 gunman and then buy 2 missiles and 1 shield, buy "Old Glory" and max towers, then max "OG" reload, then max "OG" ammo... max out the wall and you have just relax and shoot tanks

You know, seeng as I have all this money, and a ton of wepons, why can't we just, you know, attack them? Like, just spam my space laser at their base and be all like: "Ha! Suck dat bro!" But no, instead we have to just sit at meh house and wait for them to come to us. Hell, when it's been 50 days, you'd think they'd have given up and stopped attacking me. But nope, what are they thinking? "Sir, everything we've been sending at them has been getting completely obliterated" "SPAM MORE TANKS AND GIANT ROBOTS!!!!! I DONT CARE HOW MANY BILLIONS OF DOLLARS I LOSE!!!"
