strategy is too simple, just use symbiosis in the right time, you only need two plants to beat the game at all, just sell them in the right time

i was so sad when my little brain could lose to this game when i was too young, but now i completed the game under 40 mins with all badges in the game xD

Completed all levels & challenges. Went back & got 2 stars on all levels. Very easy so far...... Then started to do the 3 star difficulty. Got 3 stars on Levels 1-9 fairly easily, but then it suddenly becomes impossible from level 10. I don't understand why it goes from being pretty easy to almost impossible ??

@fakezero, what thousands html5 games?! They even stopped accepting new games, let alone html5 ones. And don't even hope for new badges, the remaining kongregate staff don't know how to work with the API and are just breaking it trying.

all of the efforts done in the past collecting random badges are paying it off...
My hope is kong introducing a tons of new badges on the thousands of html5 games so, hopefully we can get a decent pool of games that can be eligible as botd...

@luvwolves1 I did get my shiny yesterday. Only because I already done mostly all the badges in the past... I wont bother with Supernova.

Zartech, badges don't work with Supernova. What you have to do is take a screenshot with the evidence. Make sure your Supervnova window is about where the normal game window would be, so you can still see your Kongregate user name. Then, use the "missing badge" link to request the badge. Unfortunately, the "missing badge" link is the only way to get badges now, for the flash based games.

Game is fun but looks like its on an early stage of development. You might wanna look at some things like giving the ability to reset skill points so the players can choose different strategies to invest them, or make some extra levels that are actually challenging after all achievements/levels/challenges are done cause I found it fairly easy and quick to finish the game. I did enjoy playing and I liked the concept of the game, it does have room for improvement though and that will make it even better!

Stage 6 is broken for me, I can advance and have all plants down and then I get over run by the enemy crystals as they multiply from 2 crystals until they fill the screen... it makes no sense, the hard badge may as well be the impossible badge

Don't refrain from selling plants in order to move faster towards the enemy. This strategy helps with stopping him from getting too many crystals. Only relevant for getting the gold medals imo. Standard levels are easy.

This games sometimes is unbalanced. I'm trying to do all gold medals, but the thing I hate the most is that you have restrictions for the number of plants, but the enemy does NOT have any, so he can deploy as many plants as he wants. I think this is a broken feature. Yes, maybe I was not fast enough to stop them for spreading, but that is just too overpowered.

Gotta say ... little bit annoyed about that last achievement. Played all the levels, got everything else ... but did not require more than 2 plays for some levels. Frankly cannot be bothered to go back and get that achievement ... it feels a little cheap

some extra tips:
(1) on "no more than 2 plants" levels, sell one of your plants before planting the next one.
(2) if a plant is within 2 tiles of a crystal, it should be on attack mode. if not: if it's low level, put it on growth. if it's ~level 3+, make it charge attacking plants. defense mode is a joke right now.

If you want to get through it easy, play the whole thing on 1 star, repeat the whole thing at 2 stars then go through it at 3 stars, Upgrade Healing, Unit Cost Reduction, attack, defense, hpr, all that stuff after, easy routine and be very aggressive with your plants/cash.

pro tip: at first, don't invest too much in your spells (maybe 1 point into meteor). the exp from the special challenges (which are usually "don't use spells" so you're good) will keep your plants strong enough to keep getting the special achievements during your first playthrough of the level, which will give you more points for stronger plants, etc. then invest in meteor power 5 for the golden difficulty (play aggressive, pause immediately whenever something happens to adjust your strategy, and cast meteor on the farthest crystals/the ones at the power wells). shield and heal are mostly useless so don't spend any points there until you've maxed out the rest.

easiest hard badge I've ever seen, max out expensive comet and max mana/gold and you can clear the whole map. then on the second go around (max difficulty) you will have enough money to buy your upgrades and just rush down the pc by selling the plants in the back and building new plants next to crystals on attack stance
