If your having trouble getting gold leaves, all you need to do is pay aggressively; Plant plants next to the crystals and use symbiosis immediately , Also Pausing helps alot :)

This game is fun and kept me playing. Biggest complaint: it is sooooo easy. At no point was I even mildly frustrated in my playing attempts. I plowed through story mode, then easily went back and beat all the special missions and am currently plowing through and getting my gold leaves--with no difficulty. That would be my main advice: make it harder.

Every time I see someone lower a game vote because of losing their save data as if it is the games fault ALWAYS makes me feel a bit stupider each time.

when i click on an action like a spell or building a plant, i cant un select it. which sucks because i wanted to sell a plant but couldnt because i had selected the new plant option already

Way too easy to get the special challenges early on, which gives you far more XP than you ought to have, so most 1-star stages are a cakewalk.

I like it, just not too much of my style of gaming. Seems like there is a lot of content in this game though! I love the effort of versatility in this game. Just trying it out and I was impressed!

Wish there wasn't a cap on the amount of plants because I just have the urge to cover the whole entire map with my plants.

I couldn't really get into this one. It felt a bit too disconnected to me. I constantly felt like I've already played this game before. Oh wait, I have. There's about two dozen other strategy games that are -exactly- this one, just re-skinned. It was fun the first time. Kinda fun the second time. But now that I've played so many of them, I'm pretty sick of it. Be a bit more creative. Good effort though.

xD i reached level 51!!! the exp bar said Max but i still leveled up to 51 cause i earned all the achivements in one sitting plus the 21000 exp from completing the last stage on hard

I believe this is a bug. I have the 7th slot and two of my seven plants died. I've been told that I still have the maximum amount of plants. Game, this information is incorrect.

Protip: Get the 12 mana 120 damage meteor as soon as possible. It can one-hit kill small crystals on green AND silver difficulties. Also, selling plants gives mana, which means you can convert your money into mana. Which means you can get 12 mana before a crystal on the other side of the screen multiplies. Silver difficulty is incredibly easy with this tactic.

gokuguy, if you like it, why give it a 1/5? If you're rating it badly despite liking it that's silly, and if you don't like it because it's hard and time consuming.. Then you don't like it.

I decided to try the prequel for Current Weekly Challenge, and I found it to be a great game, 5/5 Stars. I beat the game by playing the first 5-6 stages one time through without choosing any of the options to make the stages harder. That gave me enough points to level my Attack to Lv. 5. I did the 1st stages Challenge, and then leveled up my Meteor spell on the RIGHT path, as it gives more damage per mana spent. I then did the 2nd stage, throwing meteors at the original crystal while switching my plant to Attack whenever a spawn appeared. I continued doing the challenges for all the stages in order, while leveling the following skills/spells to max in this order: Meteor, Wealth, Critical, Regeneration, Cost, Defense, and Health, while ignoring Healing and Shield. Once the 15h Challenge was beaten, I went through the stages in order from the beginning choosing the highest difficulty settings, and then finally got 3 completions on each stage. I hope this helps other people. :)

@sgtseeker, Yes, the pause function seemed to make the game more bearable/easier, but you didnt have to insult the new players of this game.

To clarify, special missions where you aren't allowed to plant any plants are possible. You just need to level up the plants, increasing their range, and then put them into attack mode, further increasing their range.
