Boss 3 guide: It's actually easy. Notice that when you pick up a fruit and throw it in zombie's direction, he'll stop moving for a moment. That's your chance. Hit him until he jumps. Then avoid charge attack by simply super-jumping over the big one. Keep this strategy up (feed-hit-avoid) and you'll defeat him in no time.

The second boss was really frustrating for me, so I'll share his weakness. The trick is to stand either at the very top or the very bottom of the map. As the ground starts shaking, transition to the other side. If you did this correctly, he doesn't buck but instead tosses his spear. Throw this at him to disable him for a few seconds. Keep hitting him as he recovers; don't jump until the last half-second because he still takes damage while his beast is on two legs. Oh, and + if this helped you.

Very well presented game but I find the controls a bit slow / unresponsive.

Correction to Badplanmans boss guide: For the third boss, you actually want to use 'D' to throw the fruit at him after u pick it up. For a few seconds while he eats you can then beat on him for full damage. Immediately after he finishes eating, he jumps up, and then does his charge attack from the right side of the screen. Dash jump over him. Then repeat.

For the zombie guy, an easier way is to throw fruits at him- it'll stop him, go and hit him while he's frozen: When he starts charging, just jump over it by dash+jump. Rinse, repeat, and you're done

Things that ruin this game: hit-detection is badly off. Picking up fruit is almost impossible on zombie level - you stand still, spam the fruit button, and 4 times in 5 it refuses to pick up. Bounce-back on hit pushes you much too far compared to how little space there is, so you often pinball back and forth among obstacles. And finally: RSI from hitting the s key all the time.

. 2. Takes forever but dodge charge and pick up spear, throw the spear at him while he charges at you at punch him while he's stunned. Jump over ground pound attack afterwards by jumping at the right time.

To defeat the 2nd boss, pick up the poison staff in the map before. When you meet the boss, he'll rush you first so move to the bottom of the map to avoid it. Then stay there still your screen rumbles then move up. He'll throw a spear at you so avoid that then pick up the spear. You'll drop the staff so go to the middle and stay near the staff. When he charges at you, throw the spear at it and it'll get stun. Pick up the staff quickly and you can hit it about 4 times before it stomps the ground so jump to avoid that. Use the A attack for the 4 hits instead of the S attack as there is poison effect. Repeat until its dead.

@badplanman8 like you said but there's an alternative way to use the fruits to defeat the zombie boss: throw them at him (press D and doesnt work when he's charging), he'll stop for a moment, use it to chop him 4-5 hits then stay away from him and repeat until he's down.

For those complaining about a skip button, it's in the bottom right corner (VERY HARD TO SEE). It blends into the video.

It took me more tries than I care to admit in order to defeat the Gnome King. But I did it, that's one hard badge to check off my list.

To beat the 3rd boss, just throw a fruit at him and attack him while he eats it. Then jump over him when he charges and repeat. You don't have to wait until he's on top of you.

I found Frodo´s sword on the second mines lvl! It´s located after the second rope jump on a platform. You should be able to see it from the trampoline. Anyone else found it?

the best hidden wep is the lightsaber because it does 40 dmg like every hidden wep but it counts as a light weapon so its faster and easier to attack with

This game is incredible. 5/5..My only complaint is the third Boss (The Zombie). I've read Badplanman8's instructions but it doesn't actually seem to work. But the actual gameplay was indeed addictive and enjoyable. 5/5.

this is hilarious, especially the animations of the gnomes and voice acting. But the actual game part of the game is worthless.
