Despite the fact that if had "full voice acting", the voice acting wasn't that good. Especially the voice actor for Annabel, she showed very little range of emotion. You really could have found a better voice actor. Also, the writing was a bit sub-par.
However, the gameplay is the redeeming point.

Thoughtful, atmospheric horror game that pulls you in slowly instead of using big scares. It's subtle and I liked the writing. Also the sound work, artwork and animation of the game are great. Please continue the series!

Interesting, but a little short on the actual gameplay. It's pretty, and very well-designed, but it feels kinda short on actual substance.

Well that was pretty awesome! I love the lighting effects! The shadows from the flashlight are spectacular, especially when you notice that even small things like the claw on the ground cast a shadow. And voice acting!? Fantastic job, now awaiting Part 2/3!

These Developers do not realize arrow keys can be very hard for some of us who are a little slower, in the beginning, I can only get 6 at the most of those things!!

Found a bug: During the blackout scene I was still trying to move around. I guess I shouldn't have though because once I got the flashlight my character was moving on his own towards the right, and won't stop moving to the right at all to the point where its now unplayable and I have to restart.

not sure what this games all about or what you're supposed to do to complete it, but I got all 49 pieces of sprite scat

4/5 Being required to obtain a set amount of the sprite droppings prior to the lights going out, within a time limit, without knowing. Just seems like a bad idea. That alone wasn't what made me vote 4, but the fact that playing through a second time to get all of them, I couldn't skip the dialogue or certain "scenes" Just made it a hassle. All in all, great game though!

There is a scene selection button at the menu so you can start at anytime and skip the intro when you go down the elevator and jump start into the game.

Yeah, I got 48 as well, even with picking up the first 10 before the blackout. Not sure where that last one is hiding.

Wouldn't have played this if it wasn't for the badge of the day, and I can't really say I enjoyed it. It has its good sides with the atmosphere, voice-over etc. but really, once you play through it for a second time to get all droppings, it's just a pain to wait for all unskipable cut-scenes and listen to all dialogue, and notice, this is on the _second_ time playing. If the game gets annoying that fast, it isn't good. It's a very short game though so after a failed first playthrough it's not that long before you get all droppings and can end the game within 5 mins. A weak 3/5.
