I'm here because Kong/flash is dying and this is the first game that brought me to Kongregate with the Kong hats :'( Anyway.. I found out there is still an active community, and the devs are constantly updating the game every few months. The artifact puzzle is still there every few weeks! You can see their youtube updates if you search motley monday by Jiggmin/Ben. The community is all at JV Revival (google it!). My name there is Sakgeres still but I'm not very active there. Hope this info helps anyone who wants to continue racing =)

To all the new guys trying to get the badges:
This is a pretty old game any many things has changed since the badges came out. Firstly, create an account or play as guest. At the login screen you can select the server, most of the time only the Derron server has people. Now to get the first badge you have to find the server that has Newbieland 2 in the campaign. You will see it immediately after logging in if you get on the correct server. There are about 5-6 different campaigns so you may have to try around for a bit. If you find Newbieland 2, the other levels there in the same server is also where you can get the rest of the badges. Hit + so others will know =)

To say that Flash is going to die next year, I think that this game will still live through the dark years ahead of when Flash is no longer going to be updated and therefore ultimately discontinued. I believe that Platform Racing 2 will live on through the dark years ahead of us when Flash Games are no longer a popular thing! This game we play has inspired us for many years to create, play and share amazing and... Not so amazing levels, it has drawn out the inner artist inside of us and therefore the best of us.
A decade of amazing community created levels, time after time meeting standards of what a great platform level should be like. Vanish blocks, Moving blocks, stat increasing and stat decreasing blocks?! These are all blocks that should be included in future platform games! In fact, it should be a staple at this point. The possibilities are endless with what you can do.
Jiggmin, I have written to you and all your followers to say: This game deserves to live.

An FYI for anyone trying to get the badges on here, especially the first two Newbieland and Its New York (Best of 2008), YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO GET BADGES. Also, to find Newbieland 2 search "Jiggman" and for Its New York search "Stevedx20" Hope that saves you some effort and confusion.

Man, this and Sacred Seasons 2 got me through some tough points in my childhood. I'm 24 now, but I can remember playing both games daily some 14 years ago lol good times.

wow! cant believe last time I played this game was in 2015. Brings back so many memories and so much has happened since then. When all my worries were logging on and building a room for my online friends. Now I work 8 hours a day, the world is dying and we're running out of water. Hope this game's memory last forever.

I haven't played the original PR in 13 years, but I'm glad that I could look it up and still see it up and running! Those days were so much simpler, but life goes on and on. I wish allthe OG players and newer players alike a wonderful life!

I think that in level editor you should be allowed to have the choice of using any of the hats(top hat don't moves etc.) so you won't have to publish then test it. Also have the 4 players so you can make sure that simming works.

When we send a PM to someone, we can't see the pm we have sended to them. So when we send a PM, there should be a system to show the pm we have send. Click + if you agree.

In level editor we should be able to put a certain item in a Item Block or a Infinite Item Block. Because when I'm making a race I might only want them to have a sword or a jet pack but at another part I might only want them to have a teleport.
