Play: River Raid

This is the first game I ever made, I believe it gives you a lot of fun.

River Raid was a first scrolling shooter videogame (released in 1982 by Activision for the Atari copmuters, and later for C64, ZX Spectrum, and more platform).
I made this oldschool style game, inspired by shootorial – as remake of this clasic River Raid. Soon I made many changes in game – I’m still learning and believe your comments help improve game.
Like in original the player controls an airplane in a top-down view over a river and gets points for shooting down enemy planes, helicopters, ships etc. By flying over fuel-stations, the plane’s tank can be refilled. You can shift side to side and change the speed of the plane. Sections of the river are marked by bridges.
Now in game are available three modes: clasic, extended and crazy, in future I will add two indyvidual missions and some hidden modes (maybe some form of multiplayer?)
I’m preparing achievement system like in many kongregate games. It will be available soon. Updates1.01

Bigest update ever.
1. Add mouse control – if you like keyboard control, open Controls panel on left to change this to previous settings.
Mouse control offer something new: Autofire modes. There are three Autofire modes: Off (normal), On (fire always it is posible), Fire depend (autofire is on/off by clicking mouse).
2. Add Christmas Event. It is only temporally update – it will be removed in January.
3. Fixed many things – its to long to say about all.
4. At last – There is – Fuel sounds.
This fx still are not perfect but start to be similar to orginal sounds.

6-7.12 update:
I made game Mac – friendly.
Now – you can use controls Mas/Linux friendly, back to previous control (by click Standard PC in Control Panel), or set your own controls.

SPACE- change autofire mode
Mouse – higher than plane – accelerate, lower than plane – decelerate
mouse click – fire or (if autofire depend of fire) autofire on
P – pause game
in non clasic campanies:
SHIFT-Rocket
A Vulcan Cannon

Tips:
Your missiles (except Vulcan Canon) moves right and left like your fighter.
You can not shoot before your missile crash with some target or go outside screen.
To maximize your score blow up fuels after use it. (By fireing over it)
