I would go for the hard badge here, but after losing lives instantly when enemys spawn make the badge RNG and I'll have none of that today.

@bmeyerholt1 I hope youre making a bad joke?! This was released in 2007. Its 2019 now. If you actually have troubles with particles its not the game, its your stoneage hardware.

I made it to level 39 before I realized that I could move. Turns out that just staying immobile in the middle and pointing from there makes it easier to keep track of the pointer too, go figure.

wish the pointer was conspicuous. In the whole maelstrom of squares, spotting your pointer is an actual skill in itself

*EPILEPSY WARNING*. If you're prone to epileptic attacks you shouldn't even load the game. In fact, if you're human, you shouldn't even load this nyan cat turd...

Way too much visual vomit, there do NOT need to be those colory explosions when enemies die. I can barely find my own cursor, let alone my ship

As it is hard to see the difference between enemies and particles, the best strategy indeed is to stay in one corner. There is no spawning there, you're protected on two sides, and you only have a quadrant to cover with your laser.

Constantly lose track of my aimer, the explosion particles look like enemies, and some of the powerups are downgrades (the laser sucks). Additionally, getting the hard badge would be extremely tedious due to the game's tendency to spawn enemies on you. 2/5

I love it when game developers take problems most games have (the lights everywhere) and make it into the best part of their game. great game

There is no reason not to just sit in a corner when there is a bunch of flashy garbage, teleporting enemies and poor control. 1/5
