enjoying it like the last chapters. if you ever release some sort of combined chapter version, i liked genericother’s suggestion on how a hard mode could be installed. maybe in that (or future chapters..) you could also add some sort of display on how many skill points are used / left each turn, and make the skill roll-over show not only the skill name but also the current damage it does..? i especially liked the choice of skills and skill trees’ progression from chapter to chapter!

Here is something that is in all 3 games: you can't cross a square that has an alleid in it, however you can do it if you use the move all. So if all members but one already moved (out of moves) you can use the move all to have the last character cross a wall of alleis.

If it hasn't been said enough I say it again. Great Game and a free game to boot! Don't know how you guys do it. Would love to see a chapter 5 but realise that you guys are doing it for the love and though cool and all like the rest of us you have bills to pay. I check back periodically with fingers crossed

Ranger: max bow attack max plague arrow max range max speed dual skills and tracking. All I do is shooting at a random enemy, run away and wait for poison to kill it.

@randolg I'm pretty sure because in the previous chapter, players could grind off of summoning units and make the game a pushover. I don't know but I'm guessing it might be because of that.

So, the ranger person is verry over powered. He has poison that dose major damage even when not in view. Also he can see the enemies that are not even in view. Has massive range and has two abilities i didn't even use. Final boss a problem? just use the archer in the opposite corner of the boss and it can't hit you.

Don't get me wrong I really love this series but is it just me or there is no music? Maybe it is not worth the pain but it would be nice.

Well if you know that ranger "prefers" money it should be no surprise that he won't give his money in situation like this, especially when he can just snipe all enemies with poisonous arrows from the other end of the forest.

That just reminds me... WHY didn't the Ranger do ANYTHING to PAY the toll!? Didn't he always loot people's wallet for money? He could have paid for everyone... And this elf massacre could have been avoided!

It's too bad this game has been abandoned. If you check out the developer's twitter he refer to "making little flash games" in the definite past tense.

I used up my 32 points right at the start and regretted it just a little: if you max the archer, you can easily use him to snipe and solo up to the boss. For the boss, spend a couple points for the mage's confusion spells and the cleric's heal and heal all, then the rest in whatever keeps the others meat shields long enough for your liking.
The poison spread is really, really OP.
