Slightly better! The summoned enemies giving no experience makes it less likely for one to farm and there was a challenging boss this time. I hope to see a greater challenge or at least a sixth member in Chapter 5. 4/5

Every time a new chapter comes out I go through all the games to get the full effect even though I'm constantly playing them. I would gladly wait a whole year for the next one to come out. Please just don't stop making them.

This is a great addition to the series and it deserves badges just as much as the other ones.
I hope you keep them comeing!

Bug.
Got it when kill an enemy with mage, move all, move end. On the next move enemy kill the king, use priestess with hotkey "3" (revive) - she use move but cast mage's Mass confusion (on the "3" hotkey for mage). Mass confusion cooldown triggered too. Mage's move not used.

"you have slaughtered countless of my elf sisters and bested me in combat I suppose we could waive the toll just once" haha

Um,... somehow in this one particular level every time I try to cast Smite with the Priestess she instead she somehow used the Mage's Mass Confusion.

How come you STILL haven't changed it so the Ranger's melee attack is stronger than its ranged? Ppl've been telling you to change that for aaagggeeesss man.
Gud game apart from that. Nice episode.

Well. This game would have been a total joke if it weren't for the boss. Still really easy, but +1 because boss actually managed to put damage on my party.

This game needed to be in parts. I like the addition of new skills and the respec each time. Prevents the game from getting too boring from repetition and slowly gets us used to certain abilities and status effects. I would like to see it all come together one day, though.

How to win: Upgrade toxic shot, range, mass confusion, and teleport. Enemy archers will apply poison to each other. They will apply poison to you too, but no damage will occur. Teleport in, mass confusion, toxic shot some of them, then run away. They will die from the poison.

Priest - "I have no material possessions."
Wizard - "I spent all my coin on booze."
Fighter - "The Wizard spent all my coin on booze."
Just because of those dialogs, each chapter has extra star from me
XD

I love this one too. I hope the designer realizes there are not many turn-based sword and spell dungeon party games on kong worth a hoot. This and monster's den are about it. Not quite the cakewalk that the previous ones were, but still pretty impossible to become even close to total party kill. Just a little more monster variety would make it great. Archers that moved away, or melee characters that didnt just target the closest would be a nice AI improvement. If you're methodical there's no reason to taunt. Just put the unkillable knight up front. Maybe +1 monster type per level and +1 tactic per existing monster would be cool.

I just hope that one day there will be "Flagstaff complete" or "Flagstaff: Chapters 1 - 10" or smthng, so I could play my team since the beginning. Maybe it should be more challenging, not to be so easy. Waiting for badges!

Ok, some comments:
1. I give you a 4/5 just because of what the elve queen says in the end. Very funny.
2. The poison skill of the ranger is very powerful. I just moved forward slowly, shot the first enemy and then retreated. Let the poison spread and do the job.
3. If bored, let the mage step in, too, and do a mass confuse. Speeds things up a bit. Combine this with the royal command and the chivalry and the both of them finish off mostly anything without taking much damage.

The series where its fans find it acceptable for the author to release 5 minutes of gameplay at a time as individual games meerly to greedily acquire money from kongregate

King with full speed, power, and health with the fabric softener. He is quite epic and my favorite character. Wouldn't hurt to try to add some new game mechanics to satisfy all the people complaining about it being the same game. I however am apparently a simpleton and still have fun either way :D 5/5 as always, love this series, keep up the great work!

big fan of the series, if there is a second game (cuz these are chapters guys!), it would be cool to see treasure of some sort, don't know if that'd be possible for you. keep up the good work!

Don't mind all the haters. the game is great! there's a little upgrade from each chapter(one new skill every chapter, a couple more new enemies). all of these chapter are one full game, which is why they don't change a whole lot from chapter to chapter. great series, and keep up the good work.

So many comments on how "this game is to much like the last ones". People need to realize that these "Chapters" aren't meant to be whole new games. Think of it as one whole game being released in parts instead of making us wait for it to be complete before we get to play it. OF COURSE each chapter has been more or less the same ideas, do you get upset when other video games don't radically change between each level? The chapters are progressing just like game levels normally do, more and more bad guys, with higher hit-points and who deal more damage, so what's to complain about? "boo hoo this completely free and fun game is to short"? then play the chapters back to back. I've enjoyed each chapter so far, I will admit they're a little bit easy, so the only thing I'd really suggest would be a "Hard Mode" for people to replay for more challenge (maybe if Flagstaff gets released in a "complete" version once all the chapters are done, that'd be a great place to add a hard mode to)

Come on! Bring some story back. I don't want to use the same hash and dash tactics that ive been using for the past three games. When i got the third I thought, "okay, well it could be worse" as i grew tired of pointlessly shooting little minions. But this? This is the worse. Dx

Max rangers poison, range and bow damage. Also get the ability to track people.
Walk forward a few steps with the ranger, shoot arrows at any visible people, walk back out of their sight.
Press end turn a few times while watching the poison kill them. Rinse and repeat.

I love this series!! it's just like an actual D&D campaign... you wait a couple of weeks and then BAM! new adventure, staring your favorite heros!! I appreciate that you haven't tampered too much with the mechanics of the game throughout the chapters (totally save those for flagstaff 2!!).

This is getting real sad. This is almost the exact same game as #'s 1, 2, and 3. It seems that you're putting out repeated versions to get a check from Armor rather than to progress your series. You're just going to waste away your entire series on the same re-hash of a game over and over? You obviously have the programming skills to create something new and unique every time, yet you keep delivering us the same experience. It's really confusing to me that a person of your intelligence and humor (you are very funny in the storylines) wouldn't branch out more. Please, take a look at Blizzard's Diablo series, or BlackIsle/Bethesda's Fallout series, and see how much each game is *upgraded* upon the last. Your games are getting lower and lower reviews every time and I fear what kind of marks your 5th one will get if you put it out. Please make changes because this is getting boring.

Adding a boss was definitely a step in the right direction, but each game seems to be shorter and simpler then before. More enemies on screen at one time was challenging at times, but even with the boss fight, mass confusion and the fighter's shield prevented most of the damage

Having the game auto-select the last character you used when you ended your turn would make scrolling around to attack enemies much less annoying. Also, does anyone actually waste the time watching their characters walk instead of run?
