I maxed the Priestess' Righteousness and the Ranger's Plague Arrows and bow skill and proceeded to have him wade right into the middle of enemies, poisoning them, and then raising himself from the dead when they died from poisoning. Far from being a balance problem like some have complained about, the freedom to do crazy things like the immortal Ranger is what makes this game so great.

strategically speaking this game is dull. The narrow passageways, lack of blockages and lack of enemy types really bring the game down. Open the maps up, give us more enemies to fight (and more enemies at once) and add little blockages across the map, then you will have quite a good game.

I accidentally used all of my starting points on my Ranger. Not a mistake. I just destroyed every dungeon in like 30 minutes with just my ranger, it would've taken longer having to move everyone. (I did get my healer decent by the end, but she wasn't necessary.)

after looking at some of the comments, you guys do know that you start off with 21 Skill points right? max your power and heal, then get 2x for all characters, then start upgrading health for all characters for an easy game (and get the heal all and resurrect for your priestess)

Ended up putting almost all skill points on my ranger and clearing every level with him from a distance while the rest of the party did nothing. This game lacks something for sure.

its is WAY too easy to delete your saved game by accident. not even an "are you sure you want to delete your saved game?" option?

After i learned the righteousness talent on the cleric both spin attack and thousand fists started consuming 2 turns every time i used them (i have the extra turn talent on both the king and the knight). This wasn't happening before i learned that talent on the cleric, so i guess a bug here?

Yah...no. This game sucks. Rate this down all you want, it won't change that fact, and won't stop me from giving it a 1/5.

Priestess ain't got the power to heal her team!
In other words, I find the healing inadequate to make it through without getting a character killed. The first enemies do four damage, and she heals 3. When you throw TWO enemies in there, you're screwed. Not sure if it is because I haven't played the previous games or what, but look at that.

I just maxed the archer and owned every enemy, then started to pump up the mage and owned at double speed xD the other 3 chars stayed steady, except for some healing at the first levels. Too easy maybe? Still very nice and nice graphics.

The UI is beyond awful. Clumsy as all get out. Equivalent games twenty-five years ago controlled better. Sorry to dump on someone's effort but: blech.

... My characters won't move. I can cast their abilities, but they won't move, no matter what I do, they don't move... So the enemies just sit out of range casting fireballs while my characters sit there refusing to move no matter how many times I click and order them to...

Loved the previous games, but a little disappointed with this one - short, no bosses, and no obvious changes from the previous game. Assuming there'll be another sequel, it would be nice to see a lengthier chapter with new skills or stats, a few bosses and more of a challenge. Still a good game, just needs a little improving.

People are saying that this is more balanced than the previous versions but I don't see how it can be. I spent a few minutes looking through the characters abilities and deciding which to spend my upgrade point on and then one of them got killed by a single hit from the first monster I met. How is that balanced? Also, the movement system is really annoying as you keep having to move the mouse to the bottom right to click "move all" or "end turn". Hotkeys, please!

Were we supposed to be able to kill the ice ones? Because I've played the game 6 times now, and I couldn't leave the first room without my entire party dying.

Really enjoy this series, but in this one, objects (especially pipes) tend to block enemies/allies from view, and seems a bit buggier than the first 2, but overall, great!

Honestly, I'm finding the Ranger can just about solo everything. Give him max movement, max infection rate, max range, 2x attack. Have him scout forward, shoot something. If it gets infected, retreat. If it follows, hammer it with attacks. If it doesn't, just wait for your XP meter to jump. For a fun little game, it's kinda sad this can be done right from the start. :\ Still, I'm really enjoying the series.

what do you mean there was no climax!? how bout that epic fight at the end with the red and blue and black guys that were there throughout the whole game

Disappointing end, and not much different from the other two. Also it gets far too easy after a few skill upgrades, I managed to kill most things with just the range characters. When moving characters it's monotonous and if this is the last chapter it will be incredibly disappointing!

I'm sure it's been pointed out but I'll just repeat for emphasis. You shouldn't label skills as not being able to affect bosses if you don't include any bosses. The last one was a disappointing boss so I was hoping this one fixed that issue. I guess one way to fix that is to not have a boss at all, but that's a little extreme and makes the game just some boring dungeon crawler....and we all know there are too many of those out there already.
