Under rating threshold (show) Take note. There is A LOT of reading in this game. So if you like a good story and hard to pronounce names, this is for you. XD

Under rating threshold (show) "All you need is a mouse or any similar rodent (though a capybara may be too large to use efficiently)." - one of the most beautiful lines in history of computer games! xD

Under rating threshold (show) I love how this game in many ways is a tribute to the first Quest For Glory game, one of my all time favorite adventure/rpg games :)

Under rating threshold (show) Great game for people of any age. It is good to see something like this is still being made. Was cute, made you think and also and most importantly made you see things differently.

Under rating threshold (show) @Urthor: I understand it's a point 'n' click game and I obviously wasn't expecting to be shooting Nazis in the game. I'm just saying if there were more puzzles (as opposed to simple dialogue-based options-we have all played, say, Monkey Island, have we not?) this would feel like a more interactive, more game-like experience.

Under rating threshold (show) Wow, just saw that my purely constructively critical and absolutely inoffensive comment of a few days ago is not even shown beacuse of negative votes. Could it be that adult-oriented games attract the greatest number of morons?

Under rating threshold (show) I love all of the references packed into this game, like if you talk to Basil the Innkeeper about the Foret of Eyeballs, he says there's a witch named Baba Yaga there, which is a reference to a russian tale, in which "Baba Yaga" is a witch who lives in a walking house (Ya, I grew up in a russian family) and when I read that a terrible witch named Baba Yaga lived in the Forest of Eyeballs I burst up laughing and instantly gave this game a 5 star rating.

Under rating threshold (show) I am really enjoying this game. It is also funny how you have included things from the real world (books, N'grath - which I got from google -, etc). Although I'm not so hep on reading games from the start, this one is very funny, entertaining, and pleasant to read. Great music to boot! Thank you for making this.

Under rating threshold (show) I was a little dismayed at first at finding tons of text, but as the story progresses and the music in all its simplicity drew me in, I couldn't stop reading. The little touches put in like the descriptions of eyeballs was good, and the witty comments were interesting. I like the hidden meanings in the story and I thought the ending was pretty "complete" in the sense that there wasn't any loose ends. Good job!

Under rating threshold (show) I think it's the first comment I ever write on Kong, having played here for years and years. Congratulations to a very talented author. This -story- is masterfully crafted, I don't think of it as a game at all. Wherever you decide to keep making games, or dedicate yourself to writing, I'm sure you'll have any success you want. I'm a big bookworm, and this story is a direct entry to my personal Hall of Fame. Sad thing is the rating is so low, don't take this personally, don't take it at all. Many a world changing storyteller has had a start plagued by criticism, and the average Kong user is not an avid reader, apparently!

Under rating threshold (show) They really have a lot of wierd references in this game. I.E. if you check out the books in the lair, one is by Patrica Tannis, titled "Twenty Ways of Cooking a Destroyer". Patrica Tannis was a character in the 2009 RPG shooter Borderlands (awsome game BTW, check it out) who ended up going insane after her science team died, and the destroyer was the end boss of one of the DLC packs. LOL WUT???
