Under rating threshold (show) One more thing, this story is made for a movie. If you ever write a synopsis for it I will help in any way I can.

Under rating threshold (show) I must say, even though many have said it, how immensely beautiful this game is. The amount of symbolism, from the doomsday clock to the beautiful music and the sound of waves ... this game is completely staggering, to describe this beauty in words would be unjust. Did you know I felt shivers through my spine when I saw light on the last door. .. I can only, with my full heart thank you J. Kyratzes for this journey, for this beautiful symphony of thoughts you dared to share with us.... Thank you.

Under rating threshold (show) I was so excited about the literature of this game, even brought it up with on a discussion with my uni professor, that i forgot i was playing a game. Whoever wrote and conceived this, please, write a philosophical book. Your mind sir, your personality and the own reality you think as your world, are just wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I would love to read more from you.

Under rating threshold (show) I particularly enjoyed the elements of Blake incorporated into the game. Leave it to the classical contrarian to influence the mind of a computer meant to be rational, perfect, and Urizen-esque. A beautiful game, and a beautiful perspective on what it means to "be"--many thanks.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm glad someone mentioned this game elsewhere so I knew about it. Well...have you ever read or watched something where, when you finish, you get this strange feeling like you were somehow just meant to see it, that it takes everything you're struggling with and puts it into words, at very least making you feel less alone? That's what this felt like. The "writing on the wall" is always on my mind. Logic seems to always lead to those same conclusions, yet when I attempt to confide in those around me they tell me I just think too much. At least this helps me realize I'm not alone in wrestling with those thoughts. Purely as a game it may not be the best, but whatever it lacks in game...iness, it more than makes up for in narrative. I must ask; if you lived in Greece then Germany, and just judging by your name, when did you have the chance to become so fluent in English? And does that mean not only do you write that well, but do so in at least 3 languages? Who the heck are you, brother?

Under rating threshold (show) My guess is the same as xXxcolbyxXx in which the AI is trying to stop the weapons of mass destruction, but I believe that Jerry has a special role in this too. The AI was already trying to shut off the weapons, but the government stopped it. However, the government was beat by Jerry. Jerry succeeded in creating a sort of fail safe that if the AI would be shut down, it could restart itself and resume its task beforehand. The problem is that the AI has a logical, rational mind, and it is in conflict with itself because half of it wants to fulfill the task given to it, and the other half wants to save the world and go against the corrupt government. The government figured out that Jerry was up to something and took him away with a fight. The moment after that was when the fail safe started the AI and its journey into itself to either fight and stop the weapons or to give up and let the madness of the government take over.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is an absolute revelation and true art. The story is mind-blowing, and can be understood in so many ways. It tells about lives of individuals, about life itself, it's importance and ultimately about the magic of it's creation. The fact that the most sensible creature in the story is actually artificial is what I am very fond of in this game-the only one willing to give up his/hers/it's existence for humans is not even human. That makes me see how selfish, self-centered and oblivious we can all be sometimes. As for the end, I'd like to believe that SDGS finally took control and made the world see through it's 'eyes', but I don't think that's the case. On the whole, if I could give it 10/5, I would. Just amazing.

Under rating threshold (show) The graphics and sfx are nothing special, the music quite haunting which sets the tone of the game very well, at first confusing and then by turns scary and intriguing the story is what you stay for, no question... do I know the answer to the question the story poses? Do I understand the game? Yes, I think I do and maybe I do... but even if I don't what I have learned from it is enough for me and I think I have thought about it all more than I would have done otherwise which is probably close enough to the intent of the writer to be counted as a success. All I can say is that it is wonderful, thoughtful and very evocative. Thank you very much for writing it, it was worth it, more than you can probably imagine by this point, so thank you (^_^)

Under rating threshold (show) this game is so beautifully done. i cant even wrap my mind on how vast the story was and how deep it is. i think i have played this game three times already in a row, and every time the story hits a different point and completely shatters my theories. a master piece. no doubt about it. im not sure if others would agree, but i can see an excellent movie out of this. if only there was a producer who wouldnt butcher it for profit willing to do it :/

Under rating threshold (show) The soldiers shut the conscious thought off, but what they failed to realise was that you can solve problems just as well, if not better, subconsciously as you can consciously... I think it is a dream but the A.I. wakes up at the end as it says its first words 'I AM'. It's almost as if the A.I. is stuck on a loop (possibly the scientists way of fighting back?)...the one thing the A.I. was wrong about was what happens after death. It died at the end, but then it seemed to go back to the start of its life. Utterly fantastic, though provoking game...there should be more like this. Thank you for the adventure. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) SGDS formed its own moral code and tried to access all the world's weapons systems and shut them down. SGDS also set something up where if it itself was completely shut down, the weapons systems would be taken down too. The military got around this by shutting down only the conscious part of SGDS. However, one of the researchers uploaded temporary files that put SGDS' consciousness back online. It is implied that the researchers may have been physically attacked after they opposed the military. The game is SGDS looking through its creators' journals, its own musings, the military's writings, and various networks, looking for a way to assemble passwords and use hacking to shut itself down completely. Its goal is to kill itself in order to take all the world's weapons offline and prevent The Great Fire of nuclear war. The writing on the walls represents either the military trying to discourage you or your own doubts.

Under rating threshold (show) The plot appears to be this: an old project to create an artificial intelligence called SGS failed. A new project called THINK was started up years later. THINK was taken over by a defense company and later the military and renamed SGDS. A fanatic named General Field was assigned to monitor the scientists and use SGDS as part of Project Crusade, which eventually led to an attempt to launch nuclear weapons.

Under rating threshold (show) I played through the game a second ime after reading the top comments. The interpretation that you are the SGDS computer in a dream is overwhelmingly supported. One of the consoles actually says that the SGDS had had a dream before, and a conversation with one of its creators about working through situations in a dream and using the dream as a problem-solving technique. Another has the computer musing to itself about the power of metaphor. A example of a metaphor in the game is the bridge as a metaphor for a network connection.

Under rating threshold (show) The tone of the writing was kind of annoying, but I think the ideas are sound. Liked the atmosphere of the game but I got really frustrated with how easy it was to get lost - I had to make myself a map. Nearly cried when I saw JerrysLittleMonkey. Didn't really raise any philosophical topics I hadn't already pondered but it's nice to see a game addressing them. Overall an enjoyable game, I liked piecing together what had happened and why.
