Excellent game. As of now, I have completed it a couple of times, and this actually contributed to my decision of studying artificial intelligence. Many of the philosophical ideas postulated, such as the nature of consciousness, are amazingly fascinating to think about. Jonas Kyratzes, you should really write a book, discussing the themes you have discussed in this game, for you have excellent writing skills and wonderful enlightening ideas.

You had to make all door to looks the same and all rooms to be quadtratic... moving around is this game is a serious pain.

Absolutely outstanding. Although he refers to himself as a potential 'pretentious idiot' in the afterword, this story is anything but.
Beautifully crafted, insightful and harrowingly true in our time, this game is a true inspiration. Of course the design, score and writing are excellent but it is the overall message that blew me away.
Someone else in the comments mentioned re-playing and posting some of the writing elsewhere for others to see. I'll definitely be doing this too.

So much depth! At first, I thought the end was a bit anticlimactic after all the effort and intrigue, but actually, especially after reading the afterword, I think I feel exactly how you're supposed to after playing this game. This is an amazing thing with layers and possibilities ad a really well thought out story that, like he says, you are able to piece together. Great game!! :D Well done! I would have loved to play the earlier versions! Could have used a map-like system once you found rooms, but maybe I'm just absent-minded. All in all though I do love this, and I love all the conclusions you're able to draw with carefully placed prodding. Massive sense of achievement comes along with this too. :) Well done Jonas!

I appreciate the concept but I think this game is a little far pressed in those concepts... that and I think there could have been a better choice in soundtrack.

Extremely interesting and very mind-opening. The perception SGDS has of the world and the behaviours of humankind simply brings to light how flawed and illogical those are.

what is great, also, is that Jerry seems to be religious. so much relieve and refreshment after this "ultraatheist, God-hating, Dawkins-like scientist" cliche.

There is one data entry by Jerry that is in Russian: "Tsarstvo Bozhiye vnutri vas.." It means: "The Kingdom of God is within you." Speaking Russian finally paid off, woo!

Easily the best flash game I've ever played. Every single aspect of the game was so well thought out and insightful. A definite 5/5.

I think SDGS's sacrifice in the end is sad. The military couldn't kill him without shutting down all of earths defense systems so they put him in a sleep state. At the end when you realize this you shut your self completely down, taking every weapons system in the world with you.

Rather easy to get lost, geographically-wise, but the story is so very, very deep.....It really gets to you, it does. I kind of feel empty somewhat at the end, since I never get to see what exactly happened to the scientists/programmers/colleagues. Even having said that, I definitely feel that this experience was worthwhile, especially the crew logs. The fact that some of them are broken up and all over the place created a mood that I think was perfect for this game... All in all, very well made story. 5/5 here.

I am so, so sorry this didn't get a badge. Easily the best room escape game I've ever played, and I'm something of a connoisseur--this is the genre at its most philosophical, engrossing depth. 5/5

Absolutely loved this. Needs a lot of concentration to work your way around. The music is beautiful and gives real atmosphere to the game. Really impressed.

Absolutely amazing. I had trouble navigating the rooms (and pretty much only had to refer to Tas' walkthrough for that). The password combining was actually really well done, props for making that so seamless (although I don't think I should have had to click on the chunks to get them to be remembered, that I don't think was intuitive).

its like the "madness" is the A.I's moral dilemma of not wanting the world, that he's born into fully understanding, to continue on its path of self destruction with the use of another senseless weapon of war used in name of ones own belief for purification of those against their own beliefs.

I did cry with a lot of the passages from SGDS. This is really beautiful. I am going to replay and take some of the parts that I identify with most and post somewhere people can see them and THINK. And feel too. So thanks!! This gives me hope for us.

This game reminds me a lot of another point-and-click puzzle game called No Place like Home. They both had interesting stories, only No Place like Home is a lot harder the first time you play it. (Once you know what to do, you can win in under a minute)

Everything is really good in this game, but this music... It's definitely PERFECT! It gives me creep and makes me sad. It encourages letting everything go, but it's kinda empowering at the same time.

Anyone else notice the russian words on the 4 th error or the computer drive you pick up and put into the computer after you unscrew it? well it reads "tsarstvo bozhiye vnutri vas" which translates to "the kingdom of god is within you" + so others can see

I thoroughly enjoyed the story, I like philosophical ideas about AIs. The music was also nice, though I had to shut it off once I got stuck and had heard it looping a little too much. My only real complaint is that the environments were quite dull to me. (I did not like all of the bare tile) It may have even looked better if this was in 2D rather than 3D renderings.

a bit too much of password scanning for me. but, anyway, great work! unfortunately i didn't have the patience to read everything to get really immersed into the story. (a hint, in case anyone is stuck, maybe, just maybe, that door you are staring at is a new door, and not the door you've just walked through)
