Under rating threshold (show) After level ten, exp should power fireballs that you could launch at those pesky ghosts and wizard.

Under rating threshold (show) all you guys having trouble with the giant: fly right above him, land on him and then leisurely claw his health to nothing.

Under rating threshold (show) Excellent Game. The Wizard and Giant were a little difficult, but mostly because the usual strategy of spamming attack doesn't work with them. I think the most challenging thing was trying to not kill the kobolds when they mix themselves in with the enemies. Gonna have to run through again and try and save more. :) Great job.

Under rating threshold (show) This is an enjoyable game, all in all. However, it leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, there is no indication that the kobolds are supposed to be saved rather than killed until the victory screen. Secondly, the experience requirements for level up take a huge jump after level 10 (such that I was never actually able to get to 11) and this feels like an abrupt shift in focus (especially considering the difficulty in recovering hp outside of level ups). Finally, there is a massive and hugely inconvenient glitch where an enemy will fully recover their hp if you leave the screen they reside in (this is particularly annoying when combined with knock back abilities). In the end, I had a lot of fun with this game and I'd love to see a new version sometime down the line with some improvements made to it.

The inability to advance beyond level 10 and enemies healing are intended, but we'll take those complaints as valued criticism rather than bug reports. But as for saving kobolds... we do indicate that you CAN save them, both in the intro screen and the game description, and obviously they don't attack, and they show up in a different color on your minimap... but do we ever say they're SUPPOSED to be saved? Not even the ending screen does that! It's kind of a philosophical question, isn't it? The game tracks your behavior, but never passes moral judgment, only reflects on your actions. It is entirely in keeping with dragon lore to just eat them all. You're a ruthless dragon, not some bloody hero. Just eat them. They drop health refills. Or save them. Whatever. You get a unique ending either way.

Under rating threshold (show) Good game! But the giant is a bit too hard.. He would be easier without refreshing his hp everytime he throws you out.

Yes, it would be. We discussed it, but ultimately decided to keep it harder. If it's too unforgiving, you can exploit the map edge by running to his bottom left before tempting his wrath -- he can't knock you off those edges because that's the edge of the map.

Under rating threshold (show) Decent roguelike, but level cap is too low.
