I give you five stars for a legit difficult game and lols at the people who think the controls suck when they're not even that bad. "Surly they're zombies so they won't be-able to *Zombie grabs shotgun* awwwwh f***"

I hate frictionless walking - when a character continues to move after the button is released. A horizontal "third jump" is useless: greater verticality is needed. Including instructions for the moves feels like mockery of the player when there isn't enough time even to react to the gameplay, let alone plan a tactic. Player attacks are more deadly to the player than to the enemy due to the resulting uncontrollable lurching across the screen and comically low damage. Player attacks inexplicably cannot break crates containing weapons, leading to more uncontrollable leaping around the screen. There appears to be no means of descending from a platform aside from frictionlessly walking over the edge of it, creating further hazard. Due to the experience described above, I did not have fun, and will not continue playing just to earn the badges.

I beat the game in 57 minutes. It's easy as long as you don't combat with the 'kick' button or try combos all the time. They launch you and leave you open.
I don't like game that have favoritism. This is one of those games. The dev likes the NPCs more than the players, so they get superpowers. They see into the future and guard directly before you attack, they fly back on screen if I shoot them off, and they reanimate themselves if they fall off.

horrible controls, lags and stutters even on a 1500$ gaming computer with 60mb/s internet speeds. negative stars not possible, so one will suffice. horrible choice for medal of the day, kong

I'm a fan of madness and chaos in a game like Super Smash Bros., because there's no real objective in those situations. Here there's an objective, so the madness and chaos is an impediment and an irritant.

So, controls are bad. my attacks have no knockback on the enemy, yet i charge forward with most attacks, making it easy to fall on pits. killing myself counts as a kill, but if the enemy kills himself, it'll just revive him and will NOT count as a kill. i can't even jump down on platforms, i have to walk to the edge of them and fall in order to go to a lower platform. the computer has perfect accuracy with weapons(even the OP ones, such as the cannon that instakills me, or the grenades that also instakill me). Explosions knockback is just too strong in a way that if it hits me i have no way of coming back to the screen. some stages have ''environment weapons''(such as the UFO on the alien challenge that comes across the screen firing lasers) that are REALLY hard to avoid(specially with the fast paced nature of the game mixed with enemies attacking you) which can easily ruin a game you're already winning. i think those are already enough reasons to say i'll not go for this BotD.

Immediate downvote, because the controls are Y and X. Don't people still not understand that in some countries keyboards aren't QWERTY, but QWERTZ, and that therefore Y and X aren't next to each other? Yawn.

Fun fact: You don't even notice if you tap the wrong keys. That's more of a non-interactive video than a game. 1/5, and that's the first time I rate something so low.

Is there any reason why I am being randomly thrown around the screen? It's hard to recover when you launch at light speed off the screen, and into a pit.

It's like trying to play Smash Brothers while drunk off your ass. The controls are garbage and the visuals are too cluttered to see what the hell is going on.

reading the comments and seeing how many idiots are actually on kongregate... then i just realize that they r all childs playing games for good players. Come on ppl, the game is easy and the controls are another test added to the difficult of the game. if u don't like the game then u can suck it up, or u can wait till tomorrow to get another badge ofthe day. i really like this game and the customizable character if i can add another star to the points i would gg 5/5 and favs. Keep the good work

A medium botd I haven't earned yet. Quickly remember why I didn't get it the first time around. So much potential in this game, wasted.

@stuff222 Wow, missing the point entirely. "would people stop complaining about the controls and just change them to what they want in the settings. only idiots complain about controls when they are customizable" Would stuff222 stop complaining about the comments and just read them to understand what the actual issue is. only idiots complain about comments when they haven't actually read them. -- The problem is not the lack of customization, the problem is the lack of CONTROL over the character! The controls are loose, it's like you're sliding around on ice. Difficult to use weapons, barely get a chance to attack before the enemy has knocked you to oblivion but the computer won't die if you do the same thing, when you do manage to attack you might get 1 or 2 hits in before the game has propelled you somewhere distant for no reason. Horrible gameplay, bad design, awful game physics, annoying sound effects, graphics are kinda sub-par too. I can't believe I have to play this to get BOTD.

I get killed by the environment more often than I get killed by the opponents. And when I win a stage, it's from button mashing. Not worth it for the badge.

The game feels really easy, and when it's hard, It's REALLY hard (Farmageddon. Just, Farmageddon.). Mot of the game was just me mashing the Z key and moving a bit so I don't fall to my death. The items are pretty useless, and some of them actually HURT me! (The cannon is the worst offender.) The AI is also so dumb. I usually get killed by the stage hazards than the enemies. Hell, I sometimes feel the stage hazards are my true enemies. However, I do like the concept of this game, and I'd like it if it was finished, so I give it a 2/5.

Omfg, why the f.... are these games badged? They are so unfinished its almost impossible to play it. Badge of the day, seriously?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It feels like I'm on ice, takes a second to go, then keeps going and slides. Also crashed my flash player, so that makes it extra hard to play a level.

Every time on click on this game I have to watch that video by who the game was made by is there a way to disable it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game has a solid concept. After that, though, this game is hard to like. First the lack of any kind of tutorial. Then loose- and floaty-feeling controls. And I want to say that the AI difficulty seems to be pretty random, but that's not quite accurate. Instead, the randomness of items and the AIs' ability to use them make the difficulty random. 2/5 for a good idea, in desperate need of some love and lots of polish.

I find it incredible that with the many comments that I've read, I still enjoyed the game and had a relatively easy path to the badge of the day. I started with a 1 star for the game, where I usually give a default 3 stars, and ended up bumping it up to a 4. I disagree completely with the people saying the controls suck. They don't. Sure they're not perfect, but they're not horrible either. Give this game a chance. One piece of advice though, make sure to go into help and read through the controls. There are some non-obvious things that you'll see in the hints before a challenge, but they are covered in help.
