No autopickup on coins that decay = hugely annoying. Walking a million miles to the shop after each fight = annoying. Moving forward each fight = also annoying. Controls are sluggish, and attack animation makes it impossible to move and dodge enemies. Good idea, but needs work. +1 for no premium crap tho.

YOU ARE SENTENCED TO DEATH BY ARENA.... but after every fight you are allowed to wander around the city to buy stuff and train ect

It's hard for me to kill someone when every time you swing your weapon you move forward makes it easier for you to get killed

wassle1 obviously knows next to nothing about game development. Keys that are familiar to players are much more effective to use, hence wasd is mainstream keys. Deviating from this causes unfamiliarity and although nessisary sometimes, with a game like this it isn't so. Perhaps a more suitable alternative is configurable keys.

I'm sometimes stuck on a level where I need better equipment, but I have to beat the level to get better equipment...

Okay, I've had enough... I made it to Pit 8 before the constant undersized hit box of the dual weapons got to me when I'd be facing the superior assassins with a hit box nearly twice the size of mine... I can't even run from them when trying to get into a better position to attack because of the constant forward movement during attacks. Not to mention that you can't even turn around when attacking. This game could be great, but the clumsy controls just make it more a trial in patience rather than a fun game.

game developer do not listen to the whining of these weak gamers. "oh no I have to learn 4 new buttons gee Im way to pathtic a gamer to manage that and what do you mean a cant just button mash my way through the game where am I supposed to get skills like timing and strategy from?" If your gonna listen to a bunch of people that want to dumb down this game then you might as well just make a button that says "click here to win and I'll give you a pat on the back for being so awesome and good at gaming" 5/5

The hit boxes seem way off. Often times, the basic attack of the dual weapons will hit, but the secondary will completely miss. Often times as well, I'll get hit by a charging shield mob while beating on another mob. No damage will be dealt as the enemy runs through my hitbox while swinging, but I'll get hit by him. For a 2D game with a 3D movement field, the hit boxes need to be much better than the current level you have them. Other than that it's a good premise.

lets see you can either stay in one spot and get owned by the mages or move around and get owned from behind by the dual wielders....decisions decisions

Get rid of the moving forward when you attack or make enemies get pushed back. Makes coins not vanish or easier to pick up (the potion is stupid and does not fix this). Add some kind of configuration to the controls.

This could be GREAT but it's plagued by niggling problems. If I've got a shield, I want to be able to block; a health boost is not sufficient. People clearly want customisable controls, permanent coins (or automatic gathering) and a bit more control over your avatar. Furthermore, there is no good design reason to have all your merchants and the training area so far away from each other. It's not fun traipsing up and down the palisade like a harried mother doing last-minute Christmas shopping.

don't rate it down because you are used to having a huge autocollect radius; you'll quickly end up having more coins than you can actually spend.

When I'm attacking, don't make me go forward unless I press the key, eventually the enemy stays behind me and I end up attacking the air. Also, let me turn around while I'm attacking, it's really annoying to wait for the character to stop slashing so I can face the other side to avoid being stabbed by the back.

Why the hell enemies can hit me on different z-axis and I don't?! =='
I really enjoy this game for like first 5-6 arenas, then it starts to get more angry each time. And like others said: key bindings are just dumb, they ruin completely this game...

A tip if your haing trouble ending up behind enemies is to; use the dual weapons and when you're too close use heavy attack followed quickly by a fast attack. That will push you backwards a little bit so you can continue attacking.
Another to quickly increase multiplier is too stand in one end of the arena and wait for them to come attacking then just be all relentless and shit

In nutshell way too many flaws (list would go on forever) and constant Z smashing just make this unenjoyable. Had some fun potential, but AWFUL delivery ruins it totally :/

So... hit Z like a mad man until your hand hurts... that and wear best equip which is shield and sword, heal pots, best armor you can get and magic you prefer... I've just used earth quake... since... well... you're locked to combo in one direction (unless you want to stop and take million hits due horrific delay or try to run which... *trolface* you can't cos you're slower than most snails I know.. I have weird connections) and swarmed all the time unless in hyper mode. *goes full sarcastic mode* Equipment management is pure genius. Naturally most comfortable way to play is cross your hands so your left hand is on arrow keys so you can constantly spam Z with index finger and use other keys when needed.

Don't force us use mouse in places like selection in game that you mostly have both hands on keyboard. Just use it as an optional. I just started and feels fun... possibly repetitive, but I have to play a bit more. Like it thus far... that is... like 2 mins in << >> <<

if it's not impossible, it is not too difficult ;) Take it as a challenge to master the controls of this game. I find myself using the shield all the time, and a 25$ potion from time to time. So far, so good. 4*

Having 2-D characters in a 3-D playing field is stupid. You keep missing attacks because you're not on the same Z-axis as the enemy and running behind (or in front of) coins and not picking them up.

I really WANT to like this game, but there are just too many problems with it. First off, it is extremely annoying to have to use the mouse for the menus when both hands are normally on the keyboard for fighting. There is no reason to now allow keyboard control for the buying items too. Second...this game slowed down faster than Into Space 2. Even after I switched it to low quality. And finally, I don't know if it was by design or not, but the controls are shaky while fighting. It is annoying enough to move forward slightly when attacking, but made even more annoying by the fact that I would hit the direction to turn around, and wouldn't turn around.
I like the idea of this game, but the game itself has too many issues to play for more than the 3 matches I did already.

the coins are a pain, tweak that or even have some of the gear have a +magnet stat if you really must keep them the way they are.

It's an okay game but it has flaws, the same with all other games, except this one more annoying ones.
The unlocking mechanism shouldn't be to far apart for each item in my mind, it gets very hard on levels sometimes when you don't have anything to give you that extra edge.
The key layout isn't planned very well, you REALLY should add a key layout option to customize the keys.
After all of these the game should be alot funner and more entertaining to play
