Under rating threshold (show) You should not move when you attack. Spell button should be next to attack buttons. On that note would it be super difficult to allow customizable button layouts? Difficulty curve is insane. It's fun at first but turns into a lot of the same. I think it could be a good game but it needs a lot of tweeks.

Under rating threshold (show) Cool game but terrible controls. I can only equip one item at a time? Silly. Ranged should always be an option even if you have health equipped. That's the Roman way! They used peltists more than legions. Anyway, it's also very difficult to TURN AROUND in the arena. Please fix this since it matters a lot. Look at other arena games with fast weapon animations and you'll see they always capture your arrow keys so you can face the right direction, even in mid swing. Please fix! :)

Under rating threshold (show) My only complaint is having to switch to the mouse for menu. Just make simple arrow-key and spacebar interfaces for shops etc. and it would all flow much better. The training area is also useless. Adding some functionality there would be great. Also, the disappearing coins thing has got to go. just give the coins to me when i kill them automatically in my purse. See LordBucket's comment above... otherwise fun! great art style! and the moving forward when attacking is annoying!

Under rating threshold (show) Tons of room for potential here. Make the weapons unlockable from the start, add attributes (gain some points by using the training room different ways?) make the stores easier access... good concept that missed its mark. Did you try playing it yourself? It only takes 6 minutes of playing to realize all the fatal flaws in this design. Oh ya, the fighting mechanics. Everyone else has said those problems.

Under rating threshold (show) 1) Movement keys should override action keys. If I'm swinging my sword, I should be able to turn around and keep swinging. Having to stop swinging, hit the other direction key, have him move past the enemy I'm trying to hit, is incredibly frustrating. 2) The "Ultimate" is nice, except movement is already frustrating, and when it gets faster, I can't hit anything because I'm moving past everyone. Instead of speeding me up, how about just slow everyone else down so I can actually hit them. 3) Either install a "Magnet" mechanic, or piece of equipment, or have us auto-collect coins. Or at the very least, have the bodies drop them immediately. Nothing like sitting there waiting for a corpse to vanish so i can get paid. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) Its a nice game, but the fact that you have to move for a relatively long time in order to upgrade anything makes the game longer than it needs to be. Cut out the filler, and your rating would improve vastly.

Under rating threshold (show) it's a good battling game.kinda different,but you should have made an inventory for the items,armor and weapons,cause going to a shop just to change a weapon is pointless,and the game needs a selling option and adjustable controls!

Under rating threshold (show) Game diffuctily is balanced pretty nicely, well except for the second to last level in the second level set, where it's all about dumb luck and enemy behavior. No matter the effort the assasins will always get you, halt you in place, and simply beat the heck out of you, you can't even move at all.

Under rating threshold (show) 1. The "combo" mechanics are way too clunky. 2. Moving forward EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you swing is annoying. Especially with dual weapons. 3. Coin gathering is tedious 4. Bad bad bad approach to buying items. On the 8th match I had already bought everything there is to buy in the shops. Waiting for the next tiers to unlock is bad. 5. Spells are generally just bad. 6. Same goes for items, except health vials. 7. Configurable keys is a must. 8. In-game achievements that amount to something would be a good plus. 9. Varying enemy tactics. At the moment they come out, wait 5 seconds and rush you.

Under rating threshold (show) Ehhh... The whole moving forward when you attack complaint would be less of an issue if your attacks knocked back your target(s). Perhaps your stronger attacks knock back more than your basic. On the topic of coins; getting rid of them and implementing a combo multiplier = more coins system would work better for everyone involved. Maybe get bonus coins for exciting the crowd(the colosseum was meant to entertain, after all, getting paid to be more entertaining would make sense.)

Under rating threshold (show) I fight for my death, so there would be like 1 round where they send stuff at me until I'm dead. I wouldn't get to choose my arena or anything so the background story is weak. And the most important thing: if I was a gladiator I wouldn't have to loot corpses in the arena if anything I would get paid afterwards, based on the show I performed.

Under rating threshold (show) So, I maxed my equipment, I have tons of cash, and it's getting ridiculously hard. But I can't buy better equipment nor upgrade my stats. Why do I have to aim precisely at enemies? I feel like I'm sniping with my sword, that's stupid. It's even worst when I unleash the special and run like a madman, I spend half of the special placing myself in front of an enemy, just to hit him twice and pass behind him...

Under rating threshold (show) the game is pretty fun, but disappearing coins should go the way of the dinosaur. When the sword keys are the buttons you use most for combat reconfigure them so they aren't the Z and X keys but instead the V and C keys, or even better, make them ASDF and save everyone a headache. You should be able to turn faster in a brawler game like this because it's frustrating when you melee right through your opponent and end up swinging at air leaving your ass in the wind. Coins, Buttons, tighter controls. Training area is pointless. Maybe try adding some mini game challenges there.

Under rating threshold (show) Why would the spells only be aggressive and similar in damage? Wouldn't a "Heal" spell be useful too? Maybe with really high cooldown maybe.. Also, I personally find a Z X A S key configuration would be more responsive. In a fast paced game such as this one, I can't just look at the button I need to press. I think a save before battle would be better than a save after. The game is nice. Gets repetitive after a while.

Under rating threshold (show) With dual weapons you can jump back by using the X attack when you are almost past the opponent you are attacking. This will allow you to restart the Z frenzy and help you to kill the opponent without taking much if not any damage.

Under rating threshold (show) controls are a pain when you are attacking and you push through an opponent and then have to stop button mashing and turn around. If coins are suppose to be hard to collect I should be able to purchase any upgrade without waiting for it to unlock. i end up with money to burn and nothing to buy to help me complete the next level. Why does the special bar have nodes if i have to wait for it to completely fill? Maybe have mid-bar mini specials?

Under rating threshold (show) Wish you could increase stats by gaining levels and getting stat points. You could spend them on Strength (how much damage basic weapon attacks do), Vitality (increases overall total health), Focus (how quickly you get your ultimate), Magica (increases how much damage each spell does), and Charisma (you get discount off items in shops for how high this is).

Under rating threshold (show) This game needs a lot and i put emphasis on " a lot" of work, why do i have to wait for enemy's to disappear to collect their coins which disappears after 5 seconds this is frustrating, why do i keep moving forward after every attack, soon the enemy is behind me and killing me, why do i have to be in align to do damage, and finally why is there a training ground area which is used for nothing.
