How bull, buying "2x" upgrade for units doesnt spawn more naturally, it gives you the option to pay twice as much to spawn twice the units... Not really an "upgrade".

A couple of notes for some players:
1) The reason seige weapons cannot damage enemy fortresses is because if this was the case then the game would be far too easy, it is only for supressing enemy soilders if your in a sticky situation.
2) this game has 3 aisles age of war only has 1.

all though this may be stupid but when you are in the gaul campaign and you go look in your defensive abilities you can see a roman archer

@ichigo: I passed it by simply using a berserker per small and medium boars, then a berserker along with a crew of 2 archers per black boar. but right off the bat send out miners. Don't send anything against Boaretheus, I only did when I had a lot of extra cash, but if you're strapped - no worries, he'll get more damage from the archers on your wall than your wall will. Cheers :)

So incredibly easy. So Easy! Defenders upgraded by numbers, Archers by range. One Peasant slot. All fighters straight up the middle at max cost. Sit back and win.

I'm not a fan of the fact that several upgrades are barely that. x2 range for archers is great, and I'm not one to downplay the importance of having superior range in any game, but for x3 the cost? May as well just spam non-upgraded archers, you'll get three times the hp and damage than if you used the upgraded version. Which brings me to my next point... archer spam beats everything else. Not a good thing to include in any game, it reduces the whole experience to loading up on archers in the selection screen and then pressing the button to spawn them. I do like the fact that the game has a bit of personality, and the option to send your commander out onto the field (uselessly cost ineffective though that may be). Overall not a very good game.

But, can I request that you make it permanant? That is, if we click the FF button it stays on until we click it again. I find that holding the spacebar for a long duration is kinda uncomfortable. Press + if you agree!

how the fck do i pass mission 5 people... please help i cant kill their general, and im using maxed out fire archers (100%) range and i got miners.... am i doign anything wrong, or is there any tips?

speed up button is finally added, but it barely speeds things up. We want the game to feel fast! Even with the current speedup button it just feels like watching slugs move across the screen.

So yeah. I beat level 5 due to getting an archer to their gate and it glitching. He kept attacking as usual, but he was invincible.

Those of you that play starcraft have this mantra, MACRO MACRO MACRO. Or as Day[9] puts it spend your money spend your money SPEND YOUR FRIGGIN MONEY. Do this and you win the game in one shot.
