i like Juicy Beast as a dev, but this game is not quite on par with their other games, it seems extremely rushed for Halloween. After spamming K to open several consecutive boxes of "pts" i was done.

In my opinion, this is a huge step back from the previous Juicy Beast games. I want to choose my own upgrades, advance in areas, and have my look change while doing so. Plus the objectives being used to "purchase" the next item in the linear path gets repetitive, and I'm tired of killing myself when i get the 3. 5/10

Stop whining about rainbow crates not droping often enough! If you let the crate be and use it when you have around 5~6 golden zombies, you can easily kill most humaniod zombies. After returning to the zombieworld, the timer for the next crate IS UP aka it will spawn in less then 10 sec.
And no to "rainbow crates to long to open"! Just hit it few times beforehand and if you feel overwhelmed by the zombies, run to crate, hit two times (cause prehitting is still counting as a hit), Pacman-Time

For those wondering why their is no upgrade system,it's because this game was made for ludum dare which is a contest where game creators try to make the best game in 48.

The music really makes this game to me. It's also well executed, the graphics are enjoyable... but one thing always gets to me in these games: the new challenges are mostly something I've already done before.

I think that the only thing this really needs is a main menu to go back to. It feels a little off to only have the replay from the game over screen each time.

This game is awesome. However while trying to do the final 2 achievements I had an eye spawn every single time I finished using a rainbow powerup regardless of how early in the game. It made the game impossibly difficult. I tried 10 to 15 times til I tried refreshing and found that the eye's no longer spawned and it had probably been a glitch.
Awesome game anyway.

The only thing i think you should add to help the replay-ability and longevity of the game is add an upgrade shop, that gives your furry little guy different perks or even outfits or something to spend money on that isn't the same as the achievement bonus's, so that if i get all 3 current achievements i dont just let myself die because i want the next perk.

I lasted for such a long time during the first play, only to complete 3 easily achieved objectives.
If I knew this from the get go, I would've just killed myself a long time ago. =.='

Alright, It has been a bit before I made a comment on a game for a good reason and a bad reason. Well, here goes nothing. Juicy, while I applaud your games, since they never fail to entertain me, I have noticed that there is a slight flaw to this one. As Minercu said, it lacks the shop which could add something new to it all, but other than that juicy, you may have created yet another game that I will come back over and over again to play. The gameplay is quick moving for those of us who are impatient. The zombies have a little more than just the usual "brainzzz" aspect. The missions are fun and really shine a light on it, and last but not least, it's a juicy beast game. one of my favorites. Good job Juicy. let me know when ya got another one for me.

I think you should use the objectives to earn points, when you earn points you can then upgrade the character more, speed, health and other characters for example. I think the game needs this otherwise it becomes repetitive and somewhat boring.

finally complete! at first i was sad there was no upgrade system but the more i played the more i was happy there wasnt. it would make the game too easy and would ruin it imo. i see this as more like an arcade game, but with some extra goodies for long term players ;) good game

this game is quite innovative and i can honestly say i have never EVER played a game like this. one awesome feature is when you're in the human world, you actively go looking for humans but when you're in the middle of a group and you suddenly go back to zombieland, you're stuck.
but on the other hand, this game is unfair in how many zombies spawn as you go further. freeze crates freeze a very small area of zombies and don't last long. also the golden zombies move much too fast. it's already difficult to get them out since it takes 6 taps to release them. if you can't use them easily in human mode, it makes the game very difficult. rainbow crates are too few and far between. life crates come even though you have full health. quests only complete once you die. that's a carry over from the bison games but it's a bad idea to use it here. if quests are the only things allowing you to upgrade, there is no reason to collect points. points need to go into upgrading your character somehow.

So there was a anti zombie special agent in Candyland. He find a way to extract some occult powers from rainbows to fight the creatures of the night. Always cool, showing no emotions at all suddenly a evil grin appear on his face as he start a carnage for the sake of his world. (Really funny way to revamp a old classic game Good job !!!)

Beautiful art, but the common gripe about the suicidal metagame is a huge downer. Also, unlike other JB games, the goal here seems to be purely high-score driven; whilst that's not inherently bad, the lack of a clear "win" condition (like escaping in Burrito Bison, or defeating the boss in Knightmare Tower) means it's easy to get discouraged by the grindy nature of the game.

The concept is quite fun, but I'd suggest removing unit collision so that some unavoidable deaths could be, well, avoided. I'd also suggest making the rainbow boxes either last longer or spawn more frequently at the start, as there isn't much fun to be had by simply running around and praying for one of those rainbows only to get a few seconds of chaos. Nice concept, but needs a bit of touching up.
