why cant he just ride the rocket all the way to the top cause every once in a while even when its out of fuel the rocket magically appears out of nowhere when theres a princess or it saves you when your falling from the tower why cant it just ride you to the top

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to "defeat at least 2 of the 3 critter kings." Are those the things you summon when you blow the horn?

the fact that the speed bonus box is split in the middle makes it very difficult to know if you're close to reaching a higher speed bonus or if you're close to dropping down making the "keep the speed bonus at precisely X for Y seconds" a very annoying quest.
