For those mourning this game in particular, it's available on Steam as well as Android and iOS. Maybe some other places too, I haven't checked.
As for Flash games in general: Ruffle is an open-source flash emulator that's just getting started but has some major sponsors and a large amount of interest in the project. I give it good odds to succeed. BlueMaxima is making Flashpoint, which is collecting everything possible from the web that required a plugin (Flash, Shockwave, Silverlight, etc.) and preserving it. Both of those projects have open and freely accessible code, so it would be obvious if there were viruses (and people who can read code are not at all shy about raising alarms if someone tries to pull something).

@Davtwan and lexef31: There already is: https://www.getsupernova.com/extension/ or https://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Internet-Applications-Addons/Chrome-Extensions/SuperNova-SWF-Enabler.shtml. Since it is on Softpedia I'm assuming that it is virus free, but it is still in BETA, so there are bugs being worked out.

@sistermonkey and Gladeshadow: I appreciate when people mention the bugs they run into so I know to avoid them, especially if they are bugs that trap me and force me to refresh the webpage or restart the game.

it looks like there's an interesting visual bug where if you die just as a rocket is about to send you through the barrier, the rocket turns upside down and goes straight down because your hitbox is lower than it should be or something, i don't know (though it would be a pain to replicate)

People downvote bug reports in comments because there's a button in the game info that says "Game Bug" that emails the dev directly. Unless it's something players need to know to avoid or mitigate, the comments is the wrong place (and even then it still needs to be reported directly). (@gladeshadow)

To anyone who doesn't like skipping quests, don't upgrade your Speed Bonus beyond 2. After you do the quest related to that, don't skip it past 3. You're welcome. Also, yes @punkdinosaur. The lava will eventually get faster than you if your speed is too low.

Free money is you click the "Free money" button in the upgrade menu and just open and close the tabs that pop up, simple as that

FANTASTIC GAME!
Really fun and addicting, i like how fast it is and the chaos, my only problem (if you can even call it a problem) is that the boss fight was kind of underwhelming, is was to slow, to long and very easy tbh, but outside of that loved the game!

Wow, that boss was not easy. I'm tempted to say *too* hard, but I guess that can be a hard balance to strike. Really great gameplay, just like with Burrito Bison.

that moment when you realize you have to keep hitting monster to avoid the lava (and you need all the achevement to finish the game)

Awesome game, I dont know what the final boss is but I have an idea for a final boss!
A dark knight that you must defeat and break his mask!

Unfortunately, the concept that some things (like the beasts in floating balls) are impossible to get because junk keeps flying in your way destroys what was an interesting concept. 2/5
