On the bonus level, I think you should move the second chest one half-tile to the left. Being able to push it left from its current position feels like a bug.

I normally don't comment here but as I was unable to find any walkthrough for diamond on level 12, it's just jumping towards it after you turn off the fires switch. It's a tiny maze but easy to figure it out once you're inside the block. Cheers!

that bonus level was NASTY! I suggest people play warrior with the cursed sword first to know about one thing the warrior can do that almost defies gravity. he must have claws for feet!

Very cool concept. Level 15 was so much fun; I wish there were more levels closer to that difficulty. Great job on this!

Tip: if you get stuck because your solution requires perfect timing that you can't get, just remember that it's not the only way. All 15 levels can be done with your brain instead of skill.

L13 was fine to me. L14 required a bit of thought. L15 was annoying because of timing. Having to use wind to bring you up while you're a pixel away from the fire floor was not ideal, especially after having to time everything else right. It was fun though, so still gave it a 5.

4/5 stars. The game is surprising difficult at later levels. Took about 30 attempts to beat the last level, but I finally did it by jumping and hitting wind to get up to where you started, the most difficult part of the entire game.
No bugs, which is amazing considering how complex the game is. I've tried programming a few games, and it would probably take me at least two years to program a game as complex as this with quite a few bugs. I spent a week or two trying to replicate Pong, I couldn't do it, the ball kept rendering the wrong shape.

Stuck on 15. I got all the magic, and one of the two diamonds. Yet, how do you get back up to where you started. I either hit the spikes, hit the flames, or live but don't climb back up?

Finally beat lv.13. I let loose the golem at the precise right time, quickly grabbed Earth magic, melted the ice, jumped across the spikes, unleashed the slime, used Earth magic to save myself from slime two times, then jumped up let slime past and got the 2nd gem winning.

THANK YOU for not including a death counter. Probably would have overflowed anyway with the # of times I died/restarted on that last level. Very satisfying when I finally figured it out though.

Solution to 13: Get key, Get fire, kill bee, get upper left crystal. Now unlock door when lava monster bounces off it and run in and grab earth. Quickly go to the end of platform and earth so that lava bounces off you. This will buy you enough time to earth through the spikes, hit the lever and run to right side of pit where you earth again to repel blob and jump over it to get crystal.

Judging by the comments, I don't think I got 13 right. What I did was kill the wasp and get the top gem first, unlock the door just after the golem hits it, grab the earth spell, quickly fall down the spike shaft, hit the lever and then I had almost a second extra time to cross the pit before golem or slime got there.

I like the game, but so far all the playable characters have been male except one. This leads to gender under representation.

So for level 13, first grab the fire scrol. Notice the fire golem is really slow but everything from this point on should be done quickly. Unlock the door and run in grab the earth scroll as he is walking away from you. Then jump down and melt the ice wall before he does. Next, run down flip the switch and turn to stone against the right wall of the mini-pit. The blob will walk over you and you can finally jump up and finish the level.

Level 15 could use a quicksave of some kind. Frustrating to redo the entire level just because the game puts you on the edge above the flames because you can't see your last jump.

This is one of those games that for every good point, there is a bad point. Such a pity, I enjoyed the game for the most part but there are too many bugbears to recommend this game. The invisible ceiling spikes and lack of a help feature in level 15 being a couple.

I finally beat it... but those controls.... if you are going to make the magic snap to a grid then everything needs to snap to a grid. But I don't think level 15 can be beaten if everything snaps to a grid... also WASD controls but right hand spells would be nice.

level 13 - the easy way
- fire magic on the bee to get the gem
- Get the key by the ghosts
- Fire magic one of the ice blocks
- jump up and get ready to open the gate
- just as the fire monster turns around, open the gate and grab the earth spell
- jump down and brake the other ice block
- run round and flick the bottom switch
- run to the right hand end of the mini pit and use earth magic
- once the blob is past you, run and grab the last gem

I loved your Ranger game, but this one's L13 is frustratingly annoying. It becomes one of tedious retry until you hit pixel positioning perfection. Tip: alpha and beta test levels with different people - puzzles should be the fun of thinking of the resolution, not tedium of executing it. Worse, the sheer precision required made me think I came to the wrong solution and tried many more, before eventually giving into consorting to seeking hints, only to find out it was only failure to execute.

I never leave comments, but I had to on this game. In fact, I think this may be my only comment in all the years I've been on here. I had to comment though because- WOW! I have a very short attention span, but this kept me fully hooked and unable to do anything else until I beat it. It was the absolute perfect amount of challenge (for me at least). I had to skim the comments for level 13 and 15 (not for the entire thing, but just to get a single hint before I looked away). It was awesome enough that I didn't get frustrated and just look up fully how to do any of it. I wound up really figuring it out by trial and error besides those two brief hints. This comment probably seems lame.. "Let me explain how I played this game. Just like everybody else played this game as well." I'm just doing a terrible job of telling you (the creator) how much I loved this!
