No real replay value on this game unless someone just wants to see different color combinations. It's also very easy to beat with no upgrades purchased with the credits. As usual, it's a basic TD game. Repetitive and dull to say the least. 2/5

I finished the tutorial, started a normal game, and then my browser crashed. Reloaded, had to do the tutorial again. wtf? One might think it saves the fact that I already _did_ the tutorial right _after_ I finished it.

Any tips on how to kill the little white ones that turn invisable? I am fine until they come, if one of my turrents hits one, it turns invisable and rapes my base. I still cant get past that part.

Needs better control (like using mouse to drag screen instead of arrows) and better zoom. However this has AMAZING graphics compared to some other games.

Bleh, why do all shooter games turn into TDs after a while? Why couldn't be like Blizzard where they mastered their genre by doing game after game (Warcraft1, Warcraft2, Expand, Expand, Diablo, Starcraft, Expand, Diablo 2, Expand, Warcraft 3, Expand, World of Warcraft, Expand, Expand, Expand, Starcraft 2.) Sure they have some other genres, but not till they've gotten good enough to own all their competition on the RTS front. Get really, really good at making nice, pretty, interesting, shooter games with over-the-top upgrades and still manage to hang on to balance without being frustrating. THEN do your little Tower Defence games.

ah... couldn't help it. Tried once again. Found the right configuration, won the game.
There should be two equally powerful clusters on two sides of the planet. First (clockwise) goes the shield, then other towers. One of each worked. Upgrade only power until 2 or 3 power dots - others upgrades are worthless. By level 12th or so add another cluster between the two you already have.
You don't need any global upgrades to win the game. I have gathered around 800 points total in my first 5 attempts, on the 6th I won the game and earned 4000 points - why would I want to spend them if I already beat the game? ... So, the game totally lacks balance and has a specific winning combination that you just have to guess. 2/5, expected more from this developer.

NOT true you need one defense pod for every other turret. If you build near your station, at most you'll need only two defense pods to cover ALL you turrets. Full upgrade them,l they are the most important turrets of all. A nice strat to win it, is to mirror your buildingÇ: What you build in one side, build exactly in the other side of teh station. If well done, you only need 6 turrets to win it all (4 lasers, 2 defense pods). Slow turrets are nice, but only the slow feature. If you buy their repulsor upgrade, you sometimes give more chances to the enemy to fire a few more rounds on you.

I was hoping for more...like ether space combined with tower defense, such as setting up your own base, if you wanted defenders or towers or whatever and also being able to defend it yourself through the waves. Would have been more interesting, maybe a campaign mode also or something more then custom game, to give me a reason to care to play. Such as multiple game modes would be nice instead of just different difficulties.

zoom and something to do while waiting for enemy death would be great maybe man the base's turrent? plus some way to reapair or move the turrents also would be cool

Some tips. **At very first lv, don't forget you can buy/sell turret for FREE, remove shield if you don't need its. **At later lv, upgrade your shield regularly making ur shield regan health faster and also become tougher. Also more turrets surround shield means more damage shield'll get from exploding ethers. **Always save some ethers, you don't know what'll be sent next.

Idk, normally I'm rather good at TD's, but here I couldn't pass level 6. Tried several configurations of towers (each try took 5 minutes of waiting while we get to that level, killing weak and slow creeps), then gave up.

Many things more to be added. Zoom out, Speed up button, Tell us what's next ethers coming out, more upgrades, generate ethers randomly makes sometimes the game too hard to beat. Overall great game anyway. :D 4/5

It would be nice if we had our own weapon to shoot at the enemies with instead of letting the turrets do all the work cause I feel kinda helpless when I don't have much ether to protect my turrets.

I love how in the upgrades shop it says "purchase" instead of "buy". It makes it seem like I'm spending kreds for free.

Ether war is probably one of my most favorite flash games but sadly, ESD doesn't cut it out for me even though I'm usually a fan of defense games. Although the spiral pattern is new for me, I have some few quirks that makes the game unlikeable.
*not being able to view the whole map and needing to scroll just to place towers here and there are kind of tiring. Zoom mode would be appreciated.
*music is too loud. I'm quite saddened that I have to mute the sweet explosions together wth the music.
*nostalgia about using a spaceship. I really wanna go out and not just wait for those creeps to come close to my towers.
*there's some more but meh...

The controls are very awkward. I keep clicking on the play area to try to move it. It's a pain to use the wasd keys or arrow keys to move. Better to have a "build" hotkey and have the mouse for just movement around the screen.

Ether Cannon was Great, Ether War got me thinking Wicked! But this, this new addition has taken the series to a new dimension. I wonder what's next - we've done shooter, defense, maybe a ultimate fusion between all the ether war games? Anyway, pretty good.

I like it. A pleasant deviation from the usual Ether War thing. I liked how the enemies approach in a spiral formation, it's new. Original concept, excellent graphics, stunning particle effects, and a rather bumpin' soundtrack earn this game a solid five out of five. Well done, developers. 5/5

1) You make it so ever turret needs to be covered by a defense pod, forcing clusters, but also made us cover all sides of the base
2) needs fast-forward
3) completely unoriginal
2/5

How about adding a circle or a line circle around the point you click at so you know the actual range? Well, actually I was really just asking for more eye candy, cause sometimes particle effects from explosions are not enough.

I'm glad you've finally cleared the good name of the asteroids. In the game, they're not just "OMFGASTEROIDSSHOOTSHOOT," but, "OMFGASTEROIDS, They might hit the enemy!"

to tob132:you have to do the tutorial so you wont complain that you dont know what to do or that your failing since you dont really know how to beat something, and tutorials can show easier ways to win or something els important...

Unfortunately, it feels a bit slow. It takes a large amount of time to wait for the enemies to circle around enough to reach the base, with in which time I could do 3 waves of any other TD. Interesting concept, but only for people with time on their hands.

stupid how you have to do th tutorial let people fail dont force them to do the tutorial game gets 1/5 till that gets changed for me. don't get me wrong the game is awesome but the tutorial thing is a bad idea
