if you are looking for the shooter elements, try unlocking the (manual) nuke and build lots of bomb defence turrets, you will be able to launch some nukes (regenerating over time) on stuffs. You won´t realy turn this into a shooter, but having 50 nukes available to fire at anything that moves is a nice change of pace for this game. Not a bad game, but for me it is missing a little on the replaying factor. Adding a campain might be a good idea, a move turret option for the upgraded turrets would be cool aswell.

One of the worst games I have EVER played (asides form the crappy demos that get uploaded). What on earth were you thinking author!

Having to move around just to interact with turrets that right next to the base is a major pain. Having smaller objects or a larger viewport is essential, and since Kongregate limits the viewport width, this game either needs smaller objects or to be played elsewhere.

they should make new game about ether war.....that game is AWSOME!!
this one is little boring make fast botton please....3\5

I stopped playing this game 4 waves into level 1... thought it would be great, was a huge disappointment. Until this game gets badges (which I hope it doesn't) there's no point.

It really needs zoom. Besides that, the enemy effects are much too random and game-breaking. Given how slowly you gain new turrets, and the fact that you lose ether every time you sell a turret with upgrades on it, and that you don't know the enemy effects/patterns/speed until the level starts means you essentially have to tear down you entire turret net every wave and rebuild it in a few seconds once you learn what you're up against. Having so few turrets means you can't really put in one or two turrets with certain abilities 'just in case', but have to orient your entire net for the current threat - which the gameplay (limited update currency and strong negative-sum sellback) doesn't support.

what this game really needs is a story mode. I know I know, crazy, but I would enjoy that over "Fight the computer! for really no purpose!" Needs to truely combine space shooter and tower defense, this is mainly tower defense.

Seriously guys, this is bullcrap. I personally am a big fan of ether wars, because of the constant use of its amazing effects (for a flash game) to the full effect of complete and utter carnage, Funness and Pick-up-and-play aspects. this has none of these. 1/5. (just for comparison I gave ether wars 4/5)

First, need to zoom out. Everything is all up in my face. I can't even give any more suggestions, because I refuse to even go through the intelligence-insulting Tutorial without being able to zoom out.

Why are tutorials nowadays insulting to player intelligence? I'd have liked to try and figure out the controls for myself.

Make the enemies a bit harder, more upgrades for the turrets, more turrets and a fer upgrades for the mothership central station thingy (ship launcher maybe?) after all ether war 2 was awesome, pity not to continue the trend with another incredibly playable game in favour of what seems a half hearted effort.

only 4 towers and 3 upgrades each, not very good. And why would i pay 2000 cred for cosmetic things rather than a nuke mod? should only cost 500.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sucks, no repair-button, so every time you have to start from scratch if you lose a turret.
Not enough attackforce to start with, not enough ether to decently upgrade turrets, not enough credits to buy menu-updates, never got past lvl6, play it six or seven times, and I still haven't got 2000 credits...
Sucks! 0/5

tried to get trough the "custom Mode" several times, no chance, killed in wave 2?
how to win this game without playing the tutorial 100 times for money?
shit,.....

At first I though " AWESOME NEW ETHER GAME!!!! :D" then i played the game and I actually got bored while playing the tutorial.

Unlike the other ether's where you navigate your own ship to defend, I feel like you went far away from your gameplay category. Perhaps you could have made it to where you may build turrets, aswell as being able to navigate around and shoot targets. This game is kinda slow, and I really miss the large epic battles. In fact, I am going to play ether 2 just to refresh my memories of one of my favorite flash games.

-bajillion/5 for the worlds loudest and most annoying add while loading. "BANDAAAAAIIIIII!!!! PLAY OUR GAAAAAAAAAME!!! WAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

Dull, even for the genre. Missing some key elements like repair, actually interesting upgrades, any kind of interesting graphics, character, story, etc. This seemed really mailed in.

this is a ok game 3/5 not what i was expecting to see when i saw it was ether :( i miss the ships you used to be able to build i would like some sort of same as that example: you could make a turret that builds ships to engage the enemy or make more lvls and change it up sometimes like have one huge boss that circles your base spawning the enemies but doesn't crash into your base . just along those lines and i would love this game 10 fold.

Shield unit never seems to 'draw enemy fire' outside of tutorial. Even when placing several spaced around a single gun turret, none took direct enemy fire. The AoE burst enemy even bypassed shields and delt damage to units. Yes I had the upgrade. 2/5 because of bugs.

this is boring crap T.T im probably gonna get minused for this but like 2/3 of the time is just waiting.1/5 for waiting like two thirds of the time

Why, after making two awesome shooters, would you make a boring tower defense game. This doesn't have anything close to the frantic pace and insane action that the two previous Ether games had. I wasn't even looking at the screen for most of the game.
