I really loved the first 2 ether games, but this falls short. The no shooter aspect makes this only a game where you click a couple times and you win. Mabe if you could have a cannon you control in the middle of the base your trying to defend this would become a solid 4/5. As it is im giving it a 2/5.PS Needs better upgrades

I really enjoyed the previous ether games, and I want to like this one, but it feels unfinished. Gameplay is far too simple, and there's not enough to do. 2-6 mouseclicks per wave and the rest of game play is just waiting. The upgrade system is badly implemented. Everything costs the same and half of the upgrades are purely cosmetic. (Gee, do I want a defensive upgrade or a blue planet?) This could have been an awesome game with massive replay value as we grow and gain new turret types and upgrades over dozens of games, but as is, I'm already bored in the first 10 minutes of playing. Please rebalance this, add more to do and incorporate a more complicated upgrade system.

Although I see the 'no shooter' aspect of the game, it's a great concept to see the challenge of a spiraling enemy for everywhere but maybe an extreme mode where they go both counter-clockwise and clockwise for super hardness 5/5

Manahimik, it's very very easy to configure to lower the sound of just this tab in your webbrowser, I suggest you take 15 seconds to learn that instead of complaining about simple things (as if a baby is holding the spoon backwards when it's trying to learn to eat..) and a zoom mode is definitely not needed since you have a relatively small view already, so you really don't need to zoom in further. Also, the w-a-s-d buttons lets you get to a spot of the map rather quickly so in my opinion, there's no need to be able to view a larger part of it either, just learn how to be active while you play and it won't bother you at all. and as many others are saying, imo, it lacks a shooter mode to be as good as the other ether games. (and 4 types of towers just don't cut it since they don't have any major upgrades that changes their paths completely.)

You should improve the graphics of the base and the turrets. As the others i expected that you could fire the mainbase gun but ýou can´t. Maybe you should implant a building mode, to build the towers and than let the base fire by leftclick --> i know thats not a new concept, but with only four towers the game gets boring. 2/5

And why do people need to complete tutorial first. Think if players have played this game before from another computers.

i woulda made different customizations cost different amounts, i mean, being able to be green isnt worth the same as getting multi shot for lasers.

a great game with interesting graphics. One thing that would make it better is if the mobs we are attacking had some shiny effect when the towers hit them. Anyway, awesum game.

Ether war was just way to good. But now after a long time you released THIS??? You just ruined " The Ether War Concept" by combining it with tower defense. What took you so long to make this?
I'm just disappointed.

If you are having a hard time, keep in mind the enemy always runs clockwise, so place turrets accordingly. For the shields, be sure you place skill into shield projector as the pod doesn't defend nearby turrets by default. Try not to group turrets up too tight as when enemies explode, any nearby damage will all go to the shield pod. The second shield strength promo on the defense pods is a major upgrade and not too costly.

good game. love the color. could use some more variety. like different stages or something so when your trying to get all the upgrades your not bored to death. 4/5 badges?

Same for me, I failed the last wave of the tutorial... maybe i'll try again some other time but not gonna try it again right away.

No real replay value on this game unless someone just wants to see different color combinations. It's also very easy to beat with no upgrades purchased with the credits. As usual, it's a basic TD game. Repetitive and dull to say the least. 2/5

I finished the tutorial, started a normal game, and then my browser crashed. Reloaded, had to do the tutorial again. wtf? One might think it saves the fact that I already _did_ the tutorial right _after_ I finished it.

Any tips on how to kill the little white ones that turn invisable? I am fine until they come, if one of my turrents hits one, it turns invisable and rapes my base. I still cant get past that part.

Needs better control (like using mouse to drag screen instead of arrows) and better zoom. However this has AMAZING graphics compared to some other games.

Bleh, why do all shooter games turn into TDs after a while? Why couldn't be like Blizzard where they mastered their genre by doing game after game (Warcraft1, Warcraft2, Expand, Expand, Diablo, Starcraft, Expand, Diablo 2, Expand, Warcraft 3, Expand, World of Warcraft, Expand, Expand, Expand, Starcraft 2.) Sure they have some other genres, but not till they've gotten good enough to own all their competition on the RTS front. Get really, really good at making nice, pretty, interesting, shooter games with over-the-top upgrades and still manage to hang on to balance without being frustrating. THEN do your little Tower Defence games.

ah... couldn't help it. Tried once again. Found the right configuration, won the game.
There should be two equally powerful clusters on two sides of the planet. First (clockwise) goes the shield, then other towers. One of each worked. Upgrade only power until 2 or 3 power dots - others upgrades are worthless. By level 12th or so add another cluster between the two you already have.
You don't need any global upgrades to win the game. I have gathered around 800 points total in my first 5 attempts, on the 6th I won the game and earned 4000 points - why would I want to spend them if I already beat the game? ... So, the game totally lacks balance and has a specific winning combination that you just have to guess. 2/5, expected more from this developer.

NOT true you need one defense pod for every other turret. If you build near your station, at most you'll need only two defense pods to cover ALL you turrets. Full upgrade them,l they are the most important turrets of all. A nice strat to win it, is to mirror your buildingÇ: What you build in one side, build exactly in the other side of teh station. If well done, you only need 6 turrets to win it all (4 lasers, 2 defense pods). Slow turrets are nice, but only the slow feature. If you buy their repulsor upgrade, you sometimes give more chances to the enemy to fire a few more rounds on you.

I was hoping for more...like ether space combined with tower defense, such as setting up your own base, if you wanted defenders or towers or whatever and also being able to defend it yourself through the waves. Would have been more interesting, maybe a campaign mode also or something more then custom game, to give me a reason to care to play. Such as multiple game modes would be nice instead of just different difficulties.
