I love this game because it makes you feel like you are in a battle, most games you just look at a battle and tell people what to do, in other games you are part of a "speshul striek forse" NO. This game rolls those up into a circle explodey game of pure Molten AWESOME

after all the tips on defence, here are some offence tips:
if you attract and kill most of the enemies near their spawn, they will never reach your base. wich means upgrading allies becomes unnecessary. just circle through the enemy system between the outer and the middle orbital row and most bubbles will follow you already, if you want to attract more just swing near their spawn. avoid getting surrounded and get your shield up-to-date. working on the yellow guard-bubbles can be frustrating before you have the 40 ether gun.

Completed. Didn't like that you couldn't see your bases' health and there should also be a timer to know when your enemy will upgrade so you can know if you're upgrading on-time. 3/5

Too many pointless firework effects cluttering the screen obscuring where you are firing made it a game of eye-strain.

It seems as there is no "low" particle level... And it's too much for my computer handle right now. I can't keep up with the four inner sun-guards due to lag. I'd love a "Particle level: off"-option :D

I remember playing this back in 2008 and it was really hard. was super easy this time. but that could also have to do with the fact i played it on a laptop back then.

This was a really fun game, it's fast paced and I curse whenever I see "the enemy has upgraded" or "the space station is receiving heavy damage". I don't curse unless I feel involved, and this game kept me involved. I also loved chasing down the gold orbs xD

Why do they keep doing BotD's on games that are old? "Badge of the day for Sept, 2014? Make it a game from Sept 2008." Not that I don't appreciate when it's a GOOD game like this one lol 5/5

This game is awful. Zoom out and get some graphics. Oh know the gradient balls are attacking. Don't even want the badge. You die some times, then you loose, what?

i dont know if it is just me, but the game became easier after my allies stopped spawning

Faster but riskier: Seems ally kills=no ether; Move closer to enemy, keep at least 2 on your screen at all times (stay away from gold suns). Upgrade Cannon 2x, then Smart Missile. You should get Smart Missile before enemy upgrades or right after. If you're good at controls, you can start killing golds. Upgrade Shield 1, Cannon 1, Triple Shot as you get enough ether. Kill outer golds: get close to one and try to keep gold between you and the other enemies (this way, Smart missiles hit gold and main weapon can kill other enemies). Stay close to gold until you kill it. Next upgrades: max Cannon, Engine 1, Secondary. Middle golds are trickiest so you can farm upgrades until confident or kill them by 1st getting close and try to stay close as long as you can. Focus fire until it dies. Clear other enemies afterwards (many will be trailing behind you).

I think my one complaint would be the lack of station health meter. Ok, it's taking heavy damage, that's great but 1. where and 2. how much can it take? Also, making it more clear that you can lose station parts would be helpful. I didn't realize that until I had lost 2 cannons.
