i never defended base... all i did was chased the yellow balls and upgraded allied fighters first, and then basic ship abilities in turn, not sure what this holding enemies off is.

i really didn't like it at first because I didn't get what was going on. after a few minutes, it made sense and i really enjoyed it. 5/5

Hint on how to win: Whenever you can get an upgrade do so but remember that your cannon and shields are most important. The engine can be skipped till later in the game. The idea is to keep the orbs near their main base by killing them as they come but also backingout once your health gets low. Once you have upgraded your cannon at least twice you can start to attack the yellow orbs that protect their main base. After the first layer has been destroyed it is advised that you start to uprade the engine at thispoint because the engine is needed to keep up with the orbs. The yellow orbs are both fast and regenerate at fast speed when not being attacked. Your weapons are themost important things to upgrade and the shields when yourealize you are losing too much health. The allies can act as shields but are not he same thing so the shields are more important. The engine is only for once you have destroyed teh first layer of yellow orbs.

Finally got badge. Final score OVER 9,000!! Time bonus over 15,000. Total score over 25,000. Don't know if this has something to do with what registers. Other attempts had very low time scores.

kongregate and game developers, you should have more games like when you have a million vs a million. and you are on one of millions, but you have less upgrade then friendlies, thus, leaving a great game of team work and command.

you keep trying to ignore enemys so you can upgrade enough to actually put up a fight, they destroy the station and all the work you did was for nothing, repeat.

I am personally not overly pleased with this game. I cant seem to figure out if I can rebuild my station, the enemy moves so fast its hard to target them, its just.... Well boring sadly.

For those who said it's too difficult... I beat it on the first try. You must just suck at shooters. Upgrade cannon once first, then upgrade units once, then get triple shot. Then upgrade cannon again. Then get missiles, then get secondary cannons. Then upgrade cannon til max. Then get your units again, then max your engine and shield once or twice. Easy, but tedious.

best way to ensure victory is to upgrade cannon twice, get triple shot, and then go after the outer yellow spheres while upgrading your allies

To anyone not getting their achievement for beating the game: Try switching browsers. I had issues in Chrome, but got the achievement fine in Firefox. Hope this helps others!

Too difficult. You instantly lose if you don't upgrade your units to level 3 at the beginning, and the enemy becomes too powerful and kills you even if you max out your allies.

TIP: Go on the offensive, you earn more upgrade points that way, and the enemy spheres go after you instead of the space station. Upgrade your blaster twice, then shield once... save for the homing missiles and then the triple blaster.. everything else after that is pretty much preference, should find it easy enough

for anyone who has a hard time with the badge, always be 1 upgrade above the red sun in units. start with buying friendly units and in your spare time upgrade other stuff. when the enemy upgrades his units, upgrade yours next.also you need to kill the yellow circles to damage the red one. to kill them, engine allows you to catch up to them.
