While I admit that this sort of game isn't my cup of tea and that I'm just here for the badges, I must say that I applaud the developer's friendly attitude while receiving the onslaught of negative feedback that games of this style get bombarded with. Kudos to you in that regard.

For the easy badge, I recommend just putting all points in energy. I didn't ever need to wait for it to refill. Might be better builds for late game though.

When a player levels up, they always receive the following bonus: Health: 5000 Energy: 500 Stamina: 50 If their health, energy or stamina maximum are equal to or lower than these figures, then they are refilled all the way. Sorry for the confusion!

Wayyyyyyy too tall. On my 1440x900 desktop, this game is a little over a page and a half tall; games should never require scrolling. Assuming a desktop is 768 high will make you OK for most users.

I could tell from the moment I saw this that it was a multiplayer game. Not because of the generic-ass title, but from the fact it stretched the screen out.
We're really honored to get badges for our game. We know it's not for everyone, but are grateful for people at least having an open mind to try it out and also for all the regular players who think it's great.

When I have to hit Ctrl-minus twice just to see even half of your hilariously oversized screen, you're doing it very wrong. This may surprise you, but most people don't have screens over 2000px tall.

I can't tell where the game ends and the non-game elements begin. One of the most cluttered UIs I've had to navigate in a browser game.

The game seems just like 100 others I've seen. The UI is cluttered and pointlessly huge. On the upside, I was able to click through the badges without really ever needing to wait for timers to refill things, so I'm very impressed.
Pay or not, we cater to all players and discriminate none! Need some better strategies on how? Check out chat or jump into our forums! Thanks for trying us out.

Great Potential, Just could use a little boost to make up for the low population of players. It's pretty sad to see that there's no one to fight after you reach a certain level. A lot of people depend on fights/boss fights for most of their exp needed to level since you could only get so much from energy based exp. Any way you can provide npcs that respawn every 10min or so to allow players to have something to hit, or else we just sit around waiting for our energy to refill, and for some people it's a very long time.
Thanks for the comment Bakabwoy, we're looking to remove the mob requirement on bosses to make them more available for people on the feed. For pvp battles at the lower levels at the moment we just need more active people in the game. We also plan on opening up the battle arena once there are enough high level players in the game aswell!
We had a successful promotion based on user feedback so Kongregate though it would be a good idea to give us badges. Sorry to hear that you don't enjoy this type of game!

Having the same strengths and weaknesses as a lot of fb games....i can see how people can get hooked into it.....but i just find that story wise it is just too poor for kong ((no comparison with dod ro suns)) ......but have to give it a plus for developers responding to the harsh criticisms.....hats off to you coz none of the other money sucking games have the decency to do that.
Well I certainly wouldn't consider this a money-sucking game (we have to make a living), I appreciate your comment all the same! We try to respond to most of the comments, or at least the ones we feel like we can contribute something to. :)

Speaking as a potential new player, this game has serious problems. The biggest is that the interface alone makes me want to close the tab. Is this really the best layout? Sorry, my screen isn't 3 feet tall. If I've been here for 10 seconds, do I really need to see things that are locked until level 20? Also, why no tutorial? Third, the twitter/facebook/game pimping is just shameless. and where do i see my loyalty points and favor points? I don't see them anywhere on the interface
Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate hearing specific issues new players have with the UI and game set up, as feedback from fresh eyes is great. While we unfortunately can't promise immediate and wide-ranging UI changes, we will take your suggestions under consideration.
As for your question about favor points, you can see them in brackets on the "Godfather" tab. You can also see loyalty points by clicking on the "Loyalty Items" section under the Godfather tab.
to some, great for others? Mob Wars is admittedly not for everyone, but (lucky for us?) there is a huge community of great people who do love the game! Thanks for trying anyway.

Why invest the time to make such a huge Screen and so many graphics? Just put a button in the middle of the Screen and let People click them. Add texts like "don't you dare clicking me!" if you want. And for the fun add a longer break after 1k clicks or so or let People pay for clicking on. would save you devs a lot of time...

I have said this many times but only because i do believe so; MMO should not have badges mostly cuz the ''achievement hunters''(like myself) play the game get the badges, rate the game bad and them go their way AND they take too much time for their value DX. also as an Italian i feel a little offended by this game :P

In 2009, I came across Mob Wars on Facebook. For whatever reason, I don't recall why, I jumped ship and moved to Mafia Wars. Which turned out to be a bad idea. My gaming interest shifted for a while. Recently, while browsing around for a new game, I saw this one again. The screenshots interested me. It looked very different. Wow! It is different. Compared to '09, this game is awesome! I am sooo glad I re-discovered it. Given the current state of the social mob game genre, this wins a few gold stars.

I have nothing against the game (apart from the fact that i won't play it), but it's always a disappointment to see a new badge that won't be a chance to play a great game... It's like opening a big shiny present and there's something you don't like in it. Gets your hopes down...

Here I was just avoiding this on Facebook for years because I was irritated that people were flooding my feed with requests for whatever bonuses they got for recruiting people, but it turns out that it was actually an awful game, too. I'm sure the developers are going to continue doing their PR thing by spinning this and/or other comments into, "If you try harder, you just might find some fun in it!" But seriously, fellow Kongregants, if you're reading this, just go play some more Gemcraft.

With your second job being to steal a car 50 times I kinda feel bad for the guy who owns that car because by the time its been stolen 50 times he's probably annoyed.
hehehe... hopefully it's a different car you are targeting each time. If he has his stolen 50 times, he probably should invest in an alarm! Don't forget to try different jobs!

Well, I decided to stick with this game and I gotta say, it's way more fun at level 272 than it is at level 50. My main complaint is still the long 2 day cooldown on bosses. Sure, you can do other people's bosses on the Raids tab, but each player is operating on a 2 day cooldown for each boss and you can only join if they share their boss fights, so you can't always find the boss you're looking for. Plus the long cool down time means it takes weeks to unlock new bosses, since you need to beat the prievous boss 5 times to unlock the next one. The whole pay2win thing turns out to be a non issue, since you can get plenty of free Favor Points from doing Turf War challenges, and the number of friends in your mob has a bigger impact on your fight strength than your equipment.

Keep the 1/5's coming guys, together we can adjust the game's rating to where it belongs, which for sure isn't the 4.15 that it had in the moment it got badges. It's our Kong and we don't want crappy energy based pay2win facebook games badged. Especially not when they have obnoxious large gamescreens without any real gameplay (aside from clicking buttons) like this one. 1/5 gogo!

There are lots of achievements in this game, because achievements are awesome! Assuming you mean badges, we would love to have them, and the best way for that to happen is to rate the game up, and encourage other players to rate it up as well!
