Its sad how this could be an amazing game if:
-You could get more points each level or you could replay levels to get more skill points.
-And your equipment does NOT dissapear between levels.
That's pretty much it.Rate up so that everyone knows what I mean.

I'm playing on level easy and made it through the first four levels quite fine but level 5 seems to hit a huge wall in the learning curve and unfortunately the side doesn't work for help :-(

The idea behind this is very good. The execution is horrible. You only get 1 skill point per level, there are 9 levels, and 41 things to level up. Somebody failed at math. The hero only shoots once every 5 seconds or so, making them useless. And the music will make your teeth hurt after 5 minutes.

didn't like this game very much D: gameplay wasn't so intuitive, even for a TD. graphics were pretty smol so it was a little hard to see what was going on sometimes. and yea same as the others, level 4 and up suddenly saw exponentially increasing difficulty

Level 5 on hard is a nightmare because of final round (the druids summon bears that actively try to go on to your monster tiles and destroy them).

Good game but theres no reason to play it here when the one on Kendric's site is updated with 2 new classes, skill reset and equippable items

Kongregate is hosting an old version of this game -- V1.43 has been out for years. Recently re-looked up this game as it is one of my favorites from back in the day. An awesome blend of tower defense and RTS with an awesome skill and leveling system

Very Creative game, i wish better graphic, more monsters, more defense buildings, more things to do with ally monsters like-equipment, moving them, or (take action from first person maybe ) :)

@FishinthePond it autosaves, but this is a bit dodgy. If you win the level, you have to assign the stat point and click continue or it won't work. I've also had all my data wiped and had to start again, and I think it was because I lost a level but didn't go back to the menu. So win or lose, always go to the menu before quitting the game.

Hit spacebar to unpause. Ended up 'restarting' for some reason. Because 'spacebar' is also used by flash to 'click' I guess. Not entirely sure how that works.
Howsabout a 'are you sure you want to restart' message before erasing your progress on the level? That'd be real swell.

for badge hunter: 1. choose medium. 2. choose dark knight. 3. guide for level 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv8-j4_MNXA level 9 (use hydras instead of wyrms): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFysgZnFQOQ just google other levels if you have trouble. stats shouldn't matter that much but you can reset everytime you finish a new level and choose the one which'll increase the mobs that you'll use on the next level. on the last level i'm taking minotaur+hydra's line and spike (but i didn't use the spike though)
