Great game, very difficult. Took me days to complete it on Hard with the mage, now I will try with the ranger. Level 6 is the hardest

A good tactic for digging is to create 2 U-shaped loops, for your 4 peons. This allows them to dig from 4 access points on the 2 loops to get the bonus gold ASAP.

@HiUShallDye: you have to wait for a minion to come out of the lair, walk to the block you selected to dig, then dig it out. it tells you if you hover over the dig icon.

How the heck do you dig? It just puts a symbol of a shovel on the block. 1/5 still, this game is absolute trash and feels more like a chore.

This game is trash. It has the appearance of being actually something, but it isn't. Your lairs die instantly if enemy units touch them. Your items you collected do not carry between levels thus making them pointless. Melee units must be set every single time to increase their patrol range so they actually ever leave their dens. Perk points are so limited you can hardly do anything with them. Your hero's stats/level reset every new map. It's almost impossible to see what's happening due to enemy units being so small and overlapping. So much is wrong with this game. 1/5

I wanted to enjoy this game, so much fun in it. Yet, I lose my levels, gear, and gold between levels? :( There goes the fun, and my rating. :( :(

Well, that's irritating. I apparently have the wrong skills to beat Level 5. Great, I'll just reset them. Nope, the game will only allow a reset if you've just earned a new skill point or have completed the game and have just replayed an old level. >:( I've never reset my skills before, and have earned 9 skill points. Seems like I've earned at least one free reset. Also, the skills I had got me through Level 4 just fine. How was I supposed to magically know I would need completely different skills for Level 5 before I even attempted it??? By the time you know you're stuck, it's too late to do anything about it. Sorry, rant over. :-)

To beat level 4, you need to use main hero and free the bottom right chest of the map to unlock some important gold. If not gathering gold will be hard to do with initial badge.

I think you should able to click and drag with the dig tool. Also be able to keep your avatars level and equipment through the stages.
I love this game, should be put on the app store.

Ugh, I select the incorporeal enemy so I can walk through walls only to find out enemy archers just shoot through the walls and hit me. Sorry, but bugs like that should have been caught with even the bare minimum of play-testing - and if it was intentional, why bother adding this avatar to begin with, as it renders him virtually useless.

I played this for today's Badge. Simple yet interesting defense game that has definitely grown on me! :-) (I really like the music box song, too.)

Put your points in spike traps then respec in manticores around level 4-5 and then put points back in spike traps. Even on the last level you can legit spam manticores for like 30 waves then start filling in a few elementals for defense.

Stage 4 wasn't that hard. Just make sure you guys have Minotaurs and lots of them, with the Beefy upgrade. Worked fine for me. Important thing in this game is to reset your Upgrades for the next map correctly. That's why you get so few points, because you are supposed to be strategic. If you want a general strategy though, the hero avatar upgrades are always okay, especially Alchemy. The 3rd Manticore is nice too. I find the archer to be best. He can take some hits, but also do range kiting cheeze.

Its sad how this could be an amazing game if:
-You could get more points each level or you could replay levels to get more skill points.
-And your equipment does NOT dissapear between levels.
That's pretty much it.Rate up so that everyone knows what I mean.

I'm playing on level easy and made it through the first four levels quite fine but level 5 seems to hit a huge wall in the learning curve and unfortunately the side doesn't work for help :-(

The idea behind this is very good. The execution is horrible. You only get 1 skill point per level, there are 9 levels, and 41 things to level up. Somebody failed at math. The hero only shoots once every 5 seconds or so, making them useless. And the music will make your teeth hurt after 5 minutes.

didn't like this game very much D: gameplay wasn't so intuitive, even for a TD. graphics were pretty smol so it was a little hard to see what was going on sometimes. and yea same as the others, level 4 and up suddenly saw exponentially increasing difficulty
