Under rating threshold (show) Hmm, This bugged for me. I did the four first levels on medium. And the next five levels was instant win for me. Once I pressed what level I wanted to do, it just sent me to the ''Victory'' page, that comes after you've won a level. Anyone else know with this problem?

Under rating threshold (show) mass of manticores (preferably built by buffers) + traps seems to be everything I need through the entire game. just smashing through level 8 by just starting with minotaurs early and then massive manticore spam.

Under rating threshold (show) I have never played a TD so utterly, grindingly slow... Great concept, I like the digging for gold and the possibilities of new routes, but this whole game was poorly implemented. Not playing this one again, but hopefully you take these comments to heart, and make a #2 with improvements.

Under rating threshold (show) You should really be able to sell the items and keep them from level to level, graphics should really be improved on. I really liked the idea of digging out veins of ore for extra money and that you had peons that would automatically specifically for that purpose. Also, it was a GREAT idea to let us set the range for our units.

Under rating threshold (show) The best strategy is to surround generating point with centaurs and block melee with minotaurs as soon as possible. Send peons to dig more tiles around GP. With enough ranged units around and some well set traps the enemies won't be able move far except for paladins. Most enemy ranged units will be killed instantly after spawn. Once u have money, build gold and upgrade ur troops. I have scored 60000+ in 8th and 25000+ in 9th map in this way.

Under rating threshold (show) This game has great potiential, even though (as the top comments have pointed out) it has several flaws. But I love the music, it's so relaxing! I'm upping my rating from 3 to 4 stars just for the music. This is a good kind of game to relax to. Especially since it has a speed slider-bar so you can adjust the pace however you like. Also I believe I've played a free demo of a more advanced version of this game once, from Steam. It had Diablo II-quality graphics, and IIRC even the same name, so must be part of a series. I wish there was a sequel here on Kongregate too.

Under rating threshold (show) This game had some promise, what with upgrade points, leveling lairs, etc. But I quickly learned that the upgrade system is extremely limited. The repetitive music and complete lack of any real interaction, not to mention the extremely slow speed of pretty much everything, even when cranked up to max, just hammered me to sleep. Promise is all this game has.

Dungeon Defender, completed this late last year with all 3 character choices in available difficulties, and reading the comments here it seems as though the Evil Wizard is a popular choice though if i remember correctly his advanced units were ranged and i felt not as profficient in blocking the enemy in lich or centaur surrounded user created corridors on the later levels, or versus those grizzly bear type creatures that consume lairs rapidly and seem to respawn in random places ;-)

Under rating threshold (show) Kinda hard when you first start, but once you get the hang of it it's really easy. GET ALCHEMY AS SOON AS YOU REACH LEVEL 5, it gives you about 30 gold per wave. For defenders, the best ones are manticores (but unless you have the nest upgrade, you might prefer vampires) and elementals, as ranged attackers I like the magic users (Demons and liches). Centaurs, goblins and minotaurs rapidly become obsolete after level 4-5.

Existing documentation needs serious editing: the missing words and changes in point-of-view and verb tense make the story line and hints painful to fathom. Status information during the game lacks clarity and breadth, making the play a matter of experimentation and investigation, rather than simple play.

Under rating threshold (show) Lvl 8 5 Minotaurs on both sides with a Gym boost in the middle and support behind walls by Centaurs, about like 15 per each side. I equipped my Chaos Ranger with Dexterity stuff and if i had one, add a Health item. At the end i decided 4k was alot of money so i spent it on Wyrms at the end and dominated.

Under rating threshold (show) Beat lvl 4 - place a Minotaur at the end of each col. of bricks so that they extend the columns. Under the center Minotaur place 2 Centaurs, then build up your Minotaurs as you earn $$ under the outside columns all the way down. Then just keep building in between the columns using Manticores, Liches, etc. Skip the Vamps. Don't go after any treasure.

Under rating threshold (show) I like the idea of the defense strategy with a mix of dungeon creatures you can have and traps you can set in your little arsenal. But the overlapping game play makes it pretty boring when you reach Level 4 or so and the AI of enemies aren't very bright.
