I consider this a game about a man who gives so much to someone who will not notice him. He devotes so much time and emotion to this girl, and she still does not recognize his acts of great kindness. I believe that in the end, he has given so much for the rest of the world that he loses himself, which is why he fades away.

So I had some fun playing this because of what the story was unfolding slowly as I brought item after item and really when I had that moment of "A-ha" moment. it was kind of an odd feeling. I won't spoil this any more for those that are reading it. I've lost someone I loved before, and this game shows an accurate representation of what it feels like once they are gone. If you are contemplating suicide, think of this: No matter how bad you feel, once you are dead, everybody else feels worse.

An absolutely beautiful and poignant experience with a powerful message I couldn't disagree more with. I believe that the best way to cope with loss is to remember, not to forget - to be guided rather than to let go.
5/5, best spent 15 minutes in a very long time.

I felt sad but happy as I realized, the boy was fading but the colors of the world were coming back, the boy was returning gifts and memories for the girl as the girl was slowly remembering; the colors of the world. The flower might of been for her dead mother, the lollipop from her father dying when she was young, the teddy bear she lost in the basement as her loneliness, the necklace for her only thing of her mother, and finally the balloon... from remembering all the good things in her life, and her soul carefree

I love this game! The way you made the player slowly realize that the boy was fading with each color was clever. Keep up the great work creator.

There is an alternate way to make the world color-in: Just zoom in (i'm using Chrome) and at some point, colors will magically appear. For example, at 250% purple appeared, and later at 400% green appeared also. Weird!

This was a really sweet game. I enjoyed the mechanics as well as the story it told. My only disappointment was that since purple was the last color I grabbed, I didn't get to see what became purple.

This game reminds me of the move "The boy in the striped pajamas" cause in this game it is showing that this boy is willing to risk his very own life to make someone else happy. In the boy in the striped pajamas Bruno breaks into the jews prison and trys to help shmule find his dad which ends up them both being cremated. the wonderful things that people will do to save others.

The boy is trying to do things to get the girl to notice him, and as he tries to get all the objects, you slowly see him fade away, putting all his work and effort into it. At the end, the girl finally notices him, but he's overworked himself and died, getting the girl everything she wanted without her doing any work. Basically this is the every relationship ever.

Ok, sorry if i'm not as deep as all of you, but from what I see, we're some sort of robot getting colors for his boyfriend/girlfriend and then we dissapear?

Just like in a real relationship: You go through great labors to give a girl gifts, then once she's gotten what she wants out of you and has drained you emotionally and financially it becomes as if you didn't even exist.

In the game I noticed how there were 7 colors, not the traditional 6 colors of the rainbow. My interpretation of the game is that each item you bring to the girl is one step in the 7 stages of grief, I think this because there is a gravestone next to the flower. After each item you bring to the girl the character becomes more ghost like, this is the girl getting past the death, for I also believe that the character is dead, only existing in the girls memories, when the character becomes more ghost like, this is another step in the 7 stages of grief. In the end the character fades away, and the girl releases a bird, this is a common symbol of letting go, and the last step of the 7 stages of grief, acceptance.
I also decided to name the character Jack.
