this is a good metaphor for the friendzone
you can give and give until there is nothing left of yourself
but she still wont notice you

before playing this game I used to be a selfish old freak who spent most of his time on his laptop but after playing this game my heart changed and I felt love for all and after that kindness sank into me this game should be shared with the world!

Can we please get rid of spoilers on the front page of a game? Especially for games where the plot is the ENTIRE point

Death could make anyone sad specially loved ones, have their world in sadness and sorrow will make one fade from reality into grey abyss. With the colour yellow that was the flower on the boy's gravestone was the last thing she needs to forget the sadness and the hollow feeling that it has brought from the event, bringing back the possible happy moments of past memories can once again brighten her world with the colours of happiness.

I understand what happened, but still, after while it was going on I kept thinking, "Why is this happening? Did I do something wrong?" And then I scrolled down . . . also this made me think about how your character gets more and more see-through and blurry as you collect items, and how in the game you can sort of 'float' through a lot of the buildings in town, and how gravity is slow to affect you

I disagree with the top comments. What would the gifts have to do with anything? I'm pretty sure the idea is that the guy keeps just giving and giving in order to get this girl's attention, and she keeps on ignoring him. He's adding color to her life and she just takes him for granted. By the end he's given all of himself, and she doesn't ever notice until he's gone. That's way truer to real life; I can't count the number of times I've seen that situation, where a fellow is young and they meet a girl and don't know better, so they seriously just throw themselves at her and she seems like she couldn't care less. It happens with girls to guys too, but it's more common the other way around. The fact that this is specifically a "boy" makes me think that as well...plus I'm hoping littlehat is wrong, as that would be extremely shallow and trite as far as messages go.
