yup, I can confidently say that the horseman sucks and the sorceress is op.
Also, might I say, it can be REALLY annoying to get extra units sometimes.

I'm at level 5 and I'm already bored. Every level feels like half an hour. Someone tell me how many levels there are!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Game wasn't too bad for the first 20 minutes or so, then after that it got very boring just waiting and waiting for the end of the level.

Went to the music creator's website at reachground.se, and listen to their sfx library. Great songs made about games. Nice job!

Not a bad game but gold gets useless pretty quick as items gained always seem better or at least not bad enough to replace. Currently, I have over 40,000 gold and nothing to spend it on. Maybe next game can let you augment items or something.

I love this game, but the two fighters- especially the knight (green) are woefully underpowered. My knight has levelled 3 or 4 times in a row without any stats increase! I'm hiring mace men to protect the warriors, not the mage!

I come back and play this like once a year. It appeals to the fantasy nerd, the anxious tower defender, the shopping-obsessed upgrader and the 50-something bejeweled-loving spinster all living within me.

I find it's actually my Champion who levels up the fastest, he's 7 levels ahead of both the others. For all the good that does; the man himself never goes down, but if I lose a wall or a guardsman it's certain to be one of his.

So. Um.
If your Horseman dies mid-charge and you revive him, he goes charging off the screen. And never comes back.
I think the devs really hated this horseman.

Warrior: "This shield is incredibly useful for blocking attacks, I just pwn at surviving" Mage: "This bag of tricks helps heal me up for the next assault, and every time I get a new one it's 10x better than the last!" Horseman: "Gee, my cloak helps me lead, good thing I've got an army of clerics, macemen, and archers on my line, we'd be pretty much screwed otherwise!"

HAhaha. A glitch happened where I used the horseman charge and then he died and when he came back he was still charging but dealing no damage, regenerating, then I lost because he couldn't defend the wall

The levels should not get significantly longer as you progress. Just make the waves harder, but keep the levels shorter. More than 10 waves just makes later levels more tedious and drawn out.
Also, having the non-mage heroes be fairly balanced would be nice...

Meh. Completing it just got really tedious and boring. It would be nice if new enemies were introduced or anything that requires some strategy. Basically just be good at match the shape games and play through lonnnnnnnnngggg levels at the end with a lot of repetition.

It would be really nice if there was a use for all the extra support towers one tends to make in the later rounds of the game, especially at the later fields. For example, if you fill out your melee support towers, and haven't managed to level up the melee to the next rank, and accidentally create 3 of that level while trying to do other stuff. Presently, it seems you have to swap those support towers for existing ones, even though they are identical. It would be nice if those support towers could be combined into one of the next level, or at least deleted easily rather than wasting the time to place it.

While the leveling of the green gentleman (Cavalier) seemed broken indeed, this was quite addicting and kept me matching colors until I'd earned that Hard badge! Even with it's flaws, a little grinding went a long way... and with moderately good gear and a kind board, I found it easy enough to finish without frustration. I genuinely enjoyed it, actually, which is what matters... right? Good game 4/5 stars

A good game. I only have one problem with the game, that is you can not save it so every time I come back to play I have to start all over again.

Something leveled up and around 0.4 seconds after the numbers pop up of values changed, the info is vanished... So I know that my chars are level 2 but don't know in what values something has changed.

why can't the pieces stay when you swap them? moving pieces around would make it so much easier to get 4-matches to finally get some guards up in those walls. Otherwise is not a game of skill, but your luck that the pieces align to give you those 4-matches

the mage never gets defeted but the knight allways dies and the warrior mostly dies!needs update because the knight dies alot!+ so creater can see(not that he reads them)!

UPDATE: My previous method didn't work, then I found out you can sell the heroes' equipment and let them fight armorless. I did that for 2 of the heroes, replayed a high level, got some guards in place, and when one hero would get low on health, I'd avoid matching tiles of the same colors as him (because that's how they heal). Then as soon as he died I'd make as many matches as I could, quickly, especially of that hero's color (because that's how they resurrect). BAM, "Divine Intervention" achievement unlocked with a couple extra rezes to boot.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The "Divine Intervention" achievement is really hard to get. It requires having heroes die 3 times in one battle. But I'm already most the way through the game, my heroes are high level, and they almost never die. It's like I'm "too good" to be able to get that badge. I'm gonna try replacing their strong armor with weaker armor, and make very few matches during the battle aside from blue, pink, & orange (MUST have some soldiers to defend the wall after a hero dies!)

A little torn on this one. I want to encourage more interesting takes on Match 3 games on Kong since it's one of my favorite genres, but this one is so clunky and unresponsive on the controls that it's almost unplayable. Unfortunately I have to err in favor of the latter review.
