Looking at the "Best" comments from 2011 leaves me wondering how a game with such game breaking mechanics received FOUR badges. Some of these comments were made after the game dev's last public update. :/ Think I'ma just try for medium badge and then back away from this thing slowly...or quickly depending on how bad this game actually is...

Nice game. Just hope to fix some balance issues from the heroes themselves to the weapons that it add and minus some stats. But still nice game! :)

Nice concept but quite similar to other 3-or-more-match-tiles games. Also quite anti climatic that the last level didn't have a "final boss".

The only clever instance of leveling up but decreasing stat gains was with FFIV's Tellah. He was understandably an old wizard past his prime, so he lost a bit of stamina each level. And that makes sense; as you're old, you won't get as much of a level benefit as the younger heroes. So having level decreases in this game is kind, or not even gains, is kind of silly unless there's some reason behind it. Please think that over in considering level balancing.

Although your Horseman/Cavalier shows as losing health/leadership when he levels later on (+-3 Health, etc.), if you take note of his stats, he is still gaining points, if you check his stats before and after he levels up. Do not hesitate to grind if needed.

Games with such blatant bugs and issues shouldn`t receive batches. While tastes in genre may differ and thus I would never mind games I`ll probably hate while others love them get badged, programming execution should be a criteria. Because bugs, dead ends or severe lag or memory leak issues are hated by everyone equally and we shouldn`t be forced to play these kind of games for the badges.

The idea had potential, but the execution leaves more to be desired. You hardly feel like you're in control of a battle at all, and there isn't enough things going on in battle to keep you focused. Not to mention, the balance issue between the 3 heroes is a huge problem, especially because they can only guard their own row. To put the last nail in the coffin, the Cavalier getting lower stats every time he levels up is not only a HUGE issue and can foreseeably affect gameplay substantially, but is also a VERY easy bug to fix, and a bug the developer has failed to fix in the game's first, last and only update and seemingly refuses to do so seeing as to how 4 years has passed. This bug alone bars the rating of this game to a maximum of 2 stars. A shame, really.

im sorry, but this game is unbelievably monotonous and just boring. the rounds seem endless. just grabbed the first three badges and quit. and i dont think ill ever come back for the last one...

I like the idea of this game, and almost everything about the way it works. Each round is so goddamn LONG, though. It can get a little boring - perhaps a speed-up button?

Ryu: If any of you guards or heroes go down, you can't get a triumph, even if you revive or replace them. You have to stop them dying in the first place

Game bugged out after I beat level 13 - now the only level I can load is 13, and my Champion automatically dies as soon as the level loads. After that, the matching game won't match anything. What gives?

Holy Mother of God, does anyone know the secret to get "The Elite Guard" achievement? I am using every tile-absorbing specials the heroes have and match as fast as I can non-stop in the longest stage possible (30), but the best I can achieve is about 1/3 passed the 4th level.

Strength of sorceress is range so use rod, never sword/mace. Horseman needs spear for ability to charge. Best equipment is armor/accessory which restores X HP every 5 seconds, second best is X HP restored per match: use your gold to get them, weapons are less important. Matching quickly 3-tile combos is good strategy only in the end of a game. In the beginning, 4-combos are a zillion times more useful so take your time to spot one or to build a way to one by 3-matching first the type of tiles you need the less.

i really REALLY wanted to like this game... A match 3 with a twist! but just felt the poor balancing, the grinding and repetitively long levels just dampened the fun. 3/5

buggy game: I could put a defender after the horseman died, while skeletons were destroying the wall, one skeleton was killed by the defender, the other skeletons got stuck until I could place an archer which killed them - then the mission ended

I like the idea of the minigame next to the defense game, the knight on the square got me an idea, what if you made a sequel to it and put more chess pieces in, a runner, moves diagonal only, the knight goes 2 forward, 1 left and the towers move the same the pieces move now on the square, good game
