So, I found a green item, kinda wondering what their drop rate is :)
-Kinto's boots of unawakening-
+50 armor
+13 Lifesteal
+12 Proc

The only problem with the game is that after each room you can farm the ghosts and rats in order to get back to full health. Dont get me wrong this should be in the game but there needs to be a limit as to how many times you they will respawn in order to not make the game as easy as it is.

The gold set bonus (helm + plate + boots) for me was something like 32 att + 32 critical. The blue set bonus for me was x25 defend + 200health

It's not a super long game, but it can be longer than you have for a single sitting, and so another vote for a save feature. A real one, that I can shut down my PC and come back tomorrow and pick a save file to play from, not just a respawn point if I keep playing right now.

This game is a great game. Great controls, It always feels like you are progressing in the game, and the item system makes you want to continually search for new weapons and armor, so that you always have the best gear. Even the hidden item shop is an interesting concept. However, the music is repetitive and boring, especially with boss battles. I want to feel epic when fighting bosses, but all I get is a dull silence and some mediocre music when I defeat him. 8 bit Dungeon lives up to the name of being a Dungeon crawler, and is a solid 4/5 for me, and interested in any future games you make

I love the game, 4 stars... easily 5 star if save. Game is a very good version of the original Legend of Zelda... minus being able to save your progress. What's the point of a save rune, if you don't 'actually' save?

My only complaint is that the drops seem to be way too weapon heavy. I got an incredible weapon from a boss early on and did NOT want to switch it. Queu the 40 weapon drops that follow. I need potions or armor upgrades? I get weapons

I was fighting the soul-collector by accident (clicked the soul when I realized I had it) but when I was getting close to dying everything went black other than the MaxGames.com logo. Anyone have an idea why?

I believe the Allegory for Marriage badge should be medium. I got to level 2 my first time, then level 10 my second time. Pick critical, and get a blue set. Blue set is 25 defend and 200HP. i got my critical to 70 then did HP. I never bothered with damage till lvl 8 when I got it to about 30, but the other two I got to 100 and got a full gold set from the secret shop guy. Easy with critical!

So the soul was that tomb on the fourth level? How was I supposed to know! I missed the chance to get it because i thought it was just decoration.

got the hard badge first play-through. I put the first 20 level-ups into +HP, till 100+ health, then the next 10 level-ups into +Dmg, till 50+ damage. After that, I put the rest into +crit. Using this method, and always exploring every room on every level, didn't encounter anything particularly difficult, and health never dropped below half (always healing to full after every few fights, though).

It's annoying when you're spamming on an enemy, then that clears the room, and you accidentally click the wrong thing for level up...

Make your items set as fast as you can the bonus is huge (item sets are color based ; you need Shield Helm Plate and Boots of a color)

1. Wish I knew what the different magics actually did.
2. Wish I could try different items (they just disappear since we have no stash)
3. Wish there was a collection list where we can see what special equipment has dropped for us :)
Still an awesome game 5/5.

U simply need to run around and dont stay at the same spot... Nobody hits you, only projectiles sometimes. As i said, this was the easiest "Hard" badge i ever got.

Honestly, a really good game. I loved every aspect.
Tip: I got almost everything on Crit, and took the full blue build, that way, you will have much damage, and 350+Hp, and +25* Defense. Easily got to lvl 10!
5/5

I picked up a magic swirly called Fire and it gave me a fire power. Cool. So how come I pick up a magic swirly called Ice and it gives me a gem power? Wtf?

it would be nice if this game paused if it lost focus. I will likely not make it much further than I have already after accidentally clicking the max games logo in the middle of a room full of enemies, which is unsurprisingly rage-quit inducing.

Awesome game! I got super lucky on level 8 and picked up a unique item, the dark sword of 10,000 cuts! 40 damage, 40 crit, 55% crit chance, and 52% cleave

making "shield" and "charge weapon" the same control must be the stupidest design decision I've ever seen. I can't tell you the number of times I've gotten hit because I suddenly stopped blocking and ran into a fireball.

I'm kinda addicted. I started playing because it had badges, but now I can't stop. One thing that annoys me a little though is how hard it is to get health potions.

SO many things I can talk about... very fun game, considering it is a 'bit' game, with graphics reminicent of Pokemon Red! ... I didn't think I'd like it, but I was proven wrong ^^
Oh, one more thing, I loved the music! So often the creators of these games make creepy music to try and instill some atmosphere, but it actually has the opposite effect of making a game less playable. Loved the bouncy techno vibe, Great for combat >3

I found the idea of... I guess the knight's late wife helping with OP weaponry to be... cool. It may send some mixed messages to younger audience that ignoring her at first lets you reap rewards later on....
But anyways, the Soul Collector.. yikes.. do NOT fight him unless you have around 200 attack... or more... probably more...
That brings me to ANOTHER thing I loved about this. While yes I lost my Demon Hammer when I died to the boss, and was a bit angry, I found quickly that it came back to me! Omg I loved this. I habitually clear all rooms of the dungeon, all 9 square areas, because... I'm one of those OCDs... you see. And I just knocked over a skeleton knight and boom, there was my 40 attack hammer, safe and sound.... Haha, I loved that, very nice touch of hiding the precious weapon on one of the enemies. Lets us ocd patient players get a chance at recovering from a bad fight.
