Hey Kinto, I know this has been said before, but a complement is never too much: you are doing a SUPERB job in hearing out the community regarding suggestions, bugs and general development. Really cool that you read the comments, comment back and actively continue to develop your game in that sense. Kudos!
I have been working on the game for over a year. =) I am completely burnt out on it. You guys give such amazing feedback and suggestions it makes me want to fix the flaws and improve! =)

I was mid-battle, and accidentally clicked my soul. As my character proceeded to go wherever that soul wanted to take him, he was shot and killed by an arrow. I'm sitting in the spirit world in a completely empty room, except every couple seconds the character that doesn't exist regains some health..

I played to lvl 30 and decided it was time to stop, you cursed me by rewarding click smashing so much and I think I might wear out the mouse soon. After teens there wasn't much to play for beside color coding my equipment and spells. It also became tiring to go to every room (as i found out earlier power gaming leads to serious loss of stat growth). I really enjoyed the addition of secret rooms and would like more such random events of interest.

What a great way to waste a day. You know, play till level 50, accidentally click the soul and beat the game, then have to start over..

I like the graphical style, but the game gets boring quickly. There isn't much to do. I just send my guy at the enemy.

I have to say, the first few times I played this game I got pretty frustrated. however, I have to say that the many many incremental improvements over the last few weeks have increased playability dramatically. It also shows this developer is really paying attention to comments from their players. It's refreshing. It's gone from a 3/5 to 5/5 in my book :) Well Done!

So if I get this right, crit is pretty useless. I'm still not sure what the number in front of "*crit" means... If it's a percentage, a weapon with 25 dam and 4 crit, with my 3% crit chance gives me an average damage per hit of 25.12. If it's a multiplier of a base chance to crit, which, I'll assume is 5%, this shiny red weapon I've just found that has 14 damage, 14 crit damage and +8 crit chance has an average damage per hit of 15.54. Terribad. But allow me to elaborate. Assuming it had 20 damage, 25 crit damage and +12 chance to crit, it would still get me to a lousy 23.75 damage per hit. ¬¬

For everyone wondering, Green set = Nature's blessing: +10 chop +64 regen, I would assume since the regen is not a round number, some of the stats are based on the composite level of the items in the set.

Awesome new ending! Kind of makes me wondeer why I decided to play this game... The ultimate achievement in life is not virtual.

when you pick up a potion,it takes like 4 seconds to assimilate the health or the mana ,and when i drink a potion and then rapidly changeing the room, the effect vanishes...need an update for that

i'll take schattenprophet's example further to illustrate my earlier case. to simplify things, one can just consider the break-even point when given the crit chance. (1-p)x = p(x/2 + 2y) where x is attack, y is crit, and p is crit chance. moving things around we get the ratio y/x = (1-1.5p)/2p. so for example, at 15% crit chance, you need 2.583 points in crit for every single point in attack just to break even. so you'd need to upgrade crit at least 3 times for every single time you upgrade attack in order to begin making crit work for you. we should round things up to 5s since that is the fixed amount upgrades come in. so at 15% crit chance you would need 5 attack and 15 crit at least so that you won't be penalized when crit occurs. this gives you an average of 0.85(5) + 0.15(2.5+30) = 9.125. but if you invested all in attack and avoided crit (assuming 100% regular damage) you get an average of 20. so clearly you'd have been better off instead without crit at all.

@schattenprophet your crit damage is off. you forgot to double the crit value so your 15% occurrence actually yields 0.15*250 damage.

Once i got the Demon's Black King armor set bonus the game became just boring, tedious, and all i wanted was to just get to the end. after an hour of doing the same thing over and over i just want to know how many levels are left.

hmm weird...... got 0 keys and cant continue , entered shop bought went out, open the door and realised i lost my key to a door i alredy open
Thank you it took me over a year to make it, I am not a programer either just an artist. I am learning programing by my self while I make this game for you.

oh one more thing: it is REALLY weird how often very low level (0-2) boots show up throughout all of the later levels. any particular reason for this?

So I've been constantly playing this game and I'm really happy to see the developer so dedicated to its updating. I'm at level 61 now after like 15 failed attempts to get past level 10. Just want to say thank you for a super fun game that keeps getting better!

would be cool if different weapons had also different charge like rotating attack for a blade, flash move for a dagger, stun for a hammer...maybe that's too much...would be cool anyway

I have to admit, this is one of the VERY FEW games that keeps me coming back... even if i die and lose everything after playing the same char for a week! LOVE the concept!! I would easily pay for this game if you expanded it (different looking levels, maybe eventually even expanding to the outdoors in some twist!). All the same, one of the best, free RPG roguish games i've ever played hands down!
Kudos to you Kinto! I never comment but wanted you to know just how much your game is appreciated!
Thanks!

Wonderful game in most ways I can see, but as Omegnight said in the top comments, the permanent death gets very frustrating. Especially if you've reached a high level. In light of its finer points though (combat, upgrading, controls), I'll give it a 4.5/5

Great game. Bought it for the mobile, and is my new flavor of the month. My issues are with life regen stat, it doesn't do enough during battles to keep you alive, and once you have like 500+ hp, it doesn't affect you at all, it is easier to retrace rooms and ghost hunt to refill HP. The other is with the crit damage pick up. you have to be very lucky to get a piece of gear with a high crit rate or it is a useless level up stat. perhaps change to give 1% crit + 5 crit damage? I see no point in picking it up when life or true damage are the other options. Otherwise it is a great game. Keep it up!

game ONLY saves when you grab a new spell after boss fight. achievement ONLY updates when you save. so you HAVE to ditch chaos spell for weaker spell after level 10 to get the achievement.

Tips to guys having a hard time surviving. 1) The game has a checkpoint at around level 4. 2) Some brown chests contains better items than blue ones. 3) Increase crit and damage, put only a little in health. 4) If you have no health and mana, go back to already finished rooms and kill fiends and ghosts, they drop potions. 5) Abuse your magic skill. It makes killing everything easier, especially when you have the Pentagram aura.

Nice you fixed some of the game! But black markets don't work, either it's a empty room or it just blackscreened my game
