Great game, but it seemed to be threatening to freeze after the first Continue, and then did freeze at the second. Will try reloading, but it's a bummer.

Ya know what? I'd say this is EASIER than G&G, I mean, the frequent health recovery guys, if you found this hard, you would of smashed your monitor playing Ghouls&Goblins.

Excellent game. Anyone complaining about the difficulty has obviously never played G&G. Difficulty was pitched just right, imo.

grim reaper is aggrivating. the minions take too long to kill, grim himself take up 3/4 of the screen and his scythe throw is waaay over powered and un-dodgeable. might want to fix him a bit. been trying to kill him for the past hour.

I don't always continuously swap out my weapons, but when I do, I toss them like a pansy instead of swinging them like their purpose was intended.

There's a problem with the physics on slower systems, where the knight can't jump high enough to scale some obstacles.

5/5'ing this to counteract all the people low ranking it purely due to it's difficulty.
It's an ace old-school platformer and it's quite fun. Only thing I felt could be better was the music, something more retro sounding would have been better.

I keep getting a dark screen after the first level , this game is better then pixel knight 2 but I can't play it :( I'm on a apple mac with 32 GB please fix this and I'll play it. Thanks

Very good tribute to the days when platformers were actually difficult XD. My favourite weapon was the bow and arrow. Also, is it just me or is the reaper much more difficult than the final boss?

it's a decent game and i'd like to rate it higher, but the jump not always works. This can be VERY annoying in a platforming game, so 2/5 until fix.

The inability to effectively attack at close range while being outmaneuvered by an enemy that better moves in 9 distinct directions versus my 4 is as maddening as Castlevania was back in the day. I don't really care what nostalgia these other nerds are getting hard off of on this one...this really is no fun to play, at all. At least Mega Man had strategy. This is like, inviting pain.

Great game, even 1 & 2 were fun, but it IS disappointing the weapons are all basically the same. Same damage, they just fly different.

ya the reaper is a B#$%^ to fight. 45 tries in a row. had 1 health left when i got him with the crossbow. I am scarred for life.

What the hell? In the first level, right next to the sign that says "press H to see the controls", there is a ledge that I can't jump on to. How the hell do you get pass this?

Hey children - how about we quit downrating comments just because you don't like what the person said? The game designers want input, as long as they have points to make about the game - EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE - you are doing game developers a HUGE disservice by hiding these comments. Quit acting like you're 6, if you don't agree with a comment post your own opinion. As long as a person has something to say, and not some retarded crap like "First!" or "Bad" or "Great" leave it the hell alone. Input's for the game designer, not your fanboi-ism.

If you have problems with jump, try reduce the zoom of the game. I think this could be fixed adding a quality option in the game.

2/5 the controls are glitchy and the game is practically impossible. i want to play a platformer not be swarmed by enemies. im not trying to be negative but i cant find a single thing good about this game

After playing some more, I didn't really like the game. Too many enemies with tremendous speed and incredible health moving in on your position, flying or no, and there is little chance of escaping them with slow attack speed.
