Interesting twist on the classic War. I'll also comment that it is fairly easy to beat the AI. I didn't have the patience to see how far it went, because it got to be quite repetitive for me. It does need something to make it a bit more interesting. Multiplayer would be a definite plus, in my book.

Gotta love when the whole game is decided in a Pax
Well its actually a cool leisure game, but i´ll have to quote chaos here, something that insentivates longer gameplay would really make you slave of this game, now excuse me, i must memorize more bird names right now

Tell you what... I loved this game. If you made this in real life and gave it a bit of advertising, it'd sell really well. Fun, easy to play, all round enjoyable time :)

A very nicely executed game.
Simple yet fun, though once you've figured out a winning strategy, its very easy to beat.
A more challenging mode or a story would make this game perfect.
4/5

noticed a bug. when you pax often enough so that both players don't have any cards anymore, the pax stacks get reshuffled and players are dealt new cards. Then another pax is called and the opponent plays with his cards revealed (except one in my case). then the game simply stops and you cant do anything anymore.

The instructions for PAX says that a fourth random card determines the winner, but actually the game just continues with the player playing the PAX card beginning.

Respect, its one of the best games i EVER played... At the beginning i was a little bit askance about the game, it seemed like a game for small kids, but then when i played i found out that it's REALLY cool, funny and nice : ) Really good strategy game and can not wait for the Multiplayer-Version ^^ , Congratulation 5/5 :D

18 lvls went quick, I couldn't tell what the difference between the lvls was. I think a multiplayer would def make this game a game and not a clicker.

Extremely clever. The points in the groups are well thought out. It's not a difficult game (chuck cards until your hand is high pointers, multi-pax win, repeat as needed) but was a nice one time diversion. My pre-teen niece is going to love it!

The last level is a bit tricky; you lose the first hand and it's game over. A lot of people have already suggested the most intuitive and obvious improvements, so I'll second their suggestions.
There's a feature in a lot of card games where you can choose decks-- why not make that a possible feature, unlocking decks as you go, with the first deck being the most obviously weak, but afterwards, each deck will focus on different kinds of strengths, like one with more strong cards and another with a wider variety of families to force paxes, etc etc.

stop saying its like war. of course its like war, thats almost definitely why they call it "pax". its an unfunny joke. ( pax means peace, for those who are unaware)
