i just realized CS3 is on the computers at school, (im using it for my digital design class) so instead of revamping these for CS4/5 maybe just keep these the way they are and make new ones for those using CS4 and/or 5.

Has any1 had sucess putting this (the adobe flash) on a flash drive? I'm trying to, but when i go to use the set-up.exe, it says it cant. if any1 has had sucewss with this please let me know how.

A great tutorial, really. It explains everything brief, yet it points out those little details. You can just read it, and remember all these stuff. Thanks, Kongregate! (I might as well put a new flash game on the website =D).

For GNU/Linux guys like me: there's a Flash 4 Linux (F4L) project, currently in alpha state, to develop in Flash. Or use WINE - blame Adobe's horrible Linux support (if someday I ever decide to make a game, I'll do it in Java... (BTW, Kongregate should support Java games like it does with Flash :D ).

Can someone help me? I go to the download page and I make a account and puch download.Then it going to a ppage that says it should start automaticly. The thing is it dosn't. I even disaled my pop ups like it said! help! is there any other software I can download so I can upload games to kong? thx!

I really don't understand WHY it needs to be updated. Flash CS3 is almost the EXACT same as Flash CS5 if you use AS2. If you're ever serious about making games, you're going to have to learn instead of being spoonfed by tutorials the whole time.

I downloaded the two files manually, and think I have everything. But the FlashProTrialFile2 application doesn't work. It says I'm missing the archive folder and to put all the bits in the same folder and download them all. I made a new folder called Adobe Flash CS5 and pasted all the stuff into it. It still says I haven't got all the bits. Something I'm doing wrong with the folder or a bit I haven't downloaded? Please help.

For you that is starting this tutorial now: Do NOT desist. It may look hard in the beggining, but after some time you will understand it all!
If you can, check the game I did based on this tutorial, its very simple, but I am amazed with myself... I have created a game!

@Repeat I think about 600-700 dollars if you're not a student. But you can go to *censored* and get it for free! Just make sure Adobe doesn't sneak on your house to check :P
